TL;DR: Mori's power isn't really clear. He can eject the souls of those who have damaged (or destroyed) souls, and while I intended to have it be visible, I realize it really wasn't:
Seek Souls: Mori is fundamentally aware of all souls in his vicinity (around fifty feet). This counts both living souls, potential souls, undead souls, and trapped souls. By giving each a bit of attention, he can get a general idea of the state of the soul (intact, damaged, trapped and being used to power something, etc). He can also tell the exact location of the specific soul. For most humans, the soul spreads out, suffused through the whole body, while other species have specific locations where their souls are hidden. Mori's abilities make no judgement about how 'good' or 'bad' a soul is, just how healthy they are, and whether or not they have damaged a soul in the past. This is shown as a stain across the soul itself, but it's binary, making no separation between someone who has done so hundreds of times and someone who hasn't done so only once.
