Octain had taken a bit of a vacation when school ended. Journeying to his mountain for a few nights to gather his thoughts once more. Though the first day was special. He spent a good portion of the afternoon this day creating a picnic for himself and his girlfriend, Genesis. With his mask off he made some soup, Salad and some easy to eat finger food. Though the Kitchen in the Castle where he resided with rather spacious he got lost and a few of the creatures helped him gather the materials, but he made the food. He wanted it perfect for him and what he thought was...
Well.. It was obvious what he thought. He hummed to himself. His cloak was on the table while he was working. Until something bumped on the table. A small Kobold running around wearing the cloak but was spooked by it. Octain chuckled lightly as he took it off.
"Should you have wanted to wear it you could have asked." He said. Tying the fabric around it's neck. The Kobold thanking Octain then ran off into the castle. The cloak was next to lost. Then he sat down. Getting everything ready and worked on keeping it for later so he and his girlfriend would have the date. He then rubbing his chin. Trying to find something to kill the time. He was sure she would find the note on her bed when she went out for a bit.
"My Star, I wish for you to join me, there is a place south of the entrance to the Castle. Through a small portion of the forest lies a beautiful ridge, with a breathtaking view. I would ask that you join me there when the moon reaches it's fullest in the sky.
Love Octain"
So he then killed time by reading. Until it started to get late. So he made the basket, put in a blanket, a bottle of expensive wine, two glasses, plates, bowls and utensils for the time. He made his way to the forest then through a small path that lead to the ridge. Taking little time, his maskless face placed a blanket onto the ground, putting the plates and glasses down and started to set up the soup, salad and the sandwiches. It was something simple, but Octain made it all. For her.
He stood at the edge. Looking over the world under him. The view of the island, the water around it was breathtaking. Even now he was in amazement. Everything was stunning. His eyes followed roads. Seeing the academy, his work. Where.. Where he found her. Though it took a while he took a few minutes, which turned into an hour to enjoy the view, before the world around him was not lit by the sun, or was dark. It was graced by the moon. Octain wore a fine dress shirt with frills in the front, dress pants and a tie that was loose. He was happy with everything. He showed her everything about him. Where he truly lived and belonged, his family. His friends. Even his sister. Though.
She didn't leave. She stayed.
Lexi was happy.
Octain could never contain how he felt for Genesis.
He turned his body to the foliage to await the arrival of his fair maiden.
