Posted on bulletin boards and taped lamppost throughout the island are colorful pink flyers, its playful cursive letters promising to pay generously for some modeling work. And the pay certainly is enticing for those in need of money as 140 per 3 hour session rather generous for such a gig. There was however little details on the nature of the modeling work. The flyer only states that the details will be discussed in person at the address listed at the bottom of the flyer.

While it may seem shady or too good to be true, those whom decide to pay a visit will find themselves in the nice part of Manta Calros city. Instead of some shady alleyway or decrepit apartment, they stand in front of garishly bright art studio painted with pinks, blues, yellows and whites. Some even look like the colors are swirling on their own but seem to stop when you directly look at them as if though a trick of the mind. One can only imagine the sort of person that can live in place like this but the only way to find out is to ring the buzzer at the canary yellow door and find out who, or what, opens from behind it.

((Thread open to anyone and any number of people are welcome to join. Should those be brave enough to knock, they will soon find my character Dollop happy to greet them. Have fun!))

While walking through the city, it didn't take long for Sidney to notice the colourful flyers. She ignored the first one, but after spotting it again she decided to take a peek. And upon spotting that generous pay, Sidney ended up reading the whole flyer. 140 per 3 hours for just being a model? That was pretty good. What did it even take to be a model, just standing around and looking pretty?

She walked up to a glass window, checking herself out. She could totally pull that off, especially with those gorgeous wings she had. She gave them a flap, then grabbed the flyer from where it sat, taking it with her as she headed out to find the place.

Before long, she found herself in front of the studio, staring at it for a moment before shaking her head and heading to the yellow door. Noticing the buzzer right away, Sid gave it a ring. She wasn't really sure what to expect, this whole thing was kinda vague. Regardless, she knew it'd be worth it once she got the cash. 140 bucks could get a lot of cider and pop tarts.

Shiro would wander up, a cloak over her, a hood shielding her from the sun above. "Heyo there," she'd greet the mothwoman. "You see the ad too?" she'd ask with a giggle. "Hopefully the artist has room for multiple potential models," she'd come out of curiosity more than anything else.

"I'm Shiro," she'd say, adjusting her hood to show a bit more of her face without getting burned by the sunlight.

There was the sound of movement behind the door. As it creaked open, a single pink eye could be seen peeping out from the crack as it looks to each face. The door then suddenly swings open and squeezing through was a large mass of oily paint that forms into a womanly figure in plain pink outfit and white apron thrown over it.

"Ah what is this? Have my muses arrived? Ah such beautiful darlings they have given to me!" greet the painted lady with a hint of french accent. As the woman droops over to Sidney, inky tendrils slithering out of its mass almost but never dare touching her wings "Oh my my, such wondrous wings you possesses! Beautiful wings on such a beautiful woman. Oh how I MUST paint them!"

The woman then twists unnaturally to look at Shiro, leaning closer to scrutinizing their every detail with their singular eye.

"And you, so shy as to not regal me with the pretty face from under the cowl? You madam are a tease you know? Making me wonder what magnificent creature you hides from under it." she said, feigning as though hurt that Shiro did not reveal their whole face. A single tendril almost reaches out as if though it was going to pull back the hood but the moment that it looked like it was it the tendril is suddenly slurped up by the massive paint glob where the woman's legs should be.

"Ah forgive, in my excitement I near forgot to introduce myself. How very rude of me. My name is Dollop and I am an artist as well as a teacher. Now are you two madams both here for modeling job I posted?" inquired Dollop, whom leans back and erects their towering posture as they wait prim and proper for the girls replies.

While waiting for whatever was supposed to happen after ringing the buzzer, Sid heard steps coming from behind her rather than ahead. Upon turning, she was greeted by a girl in a cloak? She raised an eyebrow, quickly realizing that this girl was her competition.

Sid eyed her over, trying to get a read. She was down a few inches on this girl, but she still had her wings. The wings never failed. Though it was hard to properly judge her with that cloak in the way. Even though she was the competition, Sid still greeted her, though there was a seriousness to her expression when she did so. "Sidney."

Before she got the chance to ask this mystery girl anything, the door to the studio creaked open. Sid turned and looked, waiting in suspense until the door suddenly burst open to reveal the paint lady.

It didn't take long for Sid to realize that this was the person that sent out the flyers. It also didn't take the lady long to recognize her wonderful wings. Sidney smiled proudly as she was inspected, quickly jumping to the conclusion that she had this in the bag. It was only a little while after that it became apparent that this wasn't a competition after all. It seemed she planned on painting both of them? All that really mattered was that she got paid at the end of the day, so this was good news.

"Nice to meetcha Dollop, I'm Sidney. And you're guess is correct, 3 hours of modelling for 140 bucks, correct?" Sidney put a finger on her chin, looking behind her at nothing in particular. "My usual price is about 150, but the other lady got sick and cancelled so I figured what the heck, I can help out an inspiring artist today."

"I'm Shiro Yoshida," she'd say, introducing herself to both of them. "As for the hood," she'd chuckle a tiny bit, "I'm a vampire, if we can go inside I can take the cloak off." Getting out of the sun would be nice, and she'd be able to maybe show off a bit.

She'd look over her possible employer. "You look fun, and you're energetic," she'd giggle. "It'll make it all fun."

"And yes, I saw your ad, modeling sounds fun," she'd say with a confident smile. "It could be a nice distraction," there was so much going on, it could be a nice change of pace.

"Hellooo!" Harmonia called out, pressing the buzzer impatiently as she stood teetering on too high high-heels, outside the garishly painted, but at the same time rather quaint, art studio. In fact, the place reminded Harmonia of Athena's workshop on Mount Olympus.

"Hello...Is anybody home?!" she called out again in a sing-songy type voice as she waited for someone to let in.

The Olympian goddess had come across the flyers just as she was heading home from a client consultation. And because she considered herself, as many of her contemporaries did, as the perfect art subjects, she decided then and there that she simply had to grace the artist's studio with her presence.

Besides ... Who wouldn't want to paint a goddess as comely as her?

While it was impossible for Dollop to know if Sidney was a professional as they indirectly claimed, Dollop was sold on Sidney's confidence alone. She was aghast to learn that other artist were playing much higher prices for modeling work and made Dollop wonder if her asking price was too low. 140 was good money back in day but maybe in those 12 years they were gone models were expected to be paid now? Well clearly Dollop needed to make adjustments.

"Ah Sidney... a lovely name. The pleasure is all mine madem. 140 was the price I posted but you speak that such work is normally 150? Goodness... I did not mean to come off so cheap! Perhaps that is whey I no one has approached me with modeling work until now. Listen... I know how hard it is for a model to find work so how about increase my price to... 170? I want to make sure I am paying my models adequately for their time and talent, specially one whom had a cancellation. After all... I am a professional artist~"

After giving Sidney warm smile, they turn to attention back to Shiro.

"Shiro Yoshida? So exotic! That is Japanese yes? Well how about we usher the both of you inside that nasty sun is no longer an issue. I must see whom is under that hood." insisted Dollop, dexterously slipping between the two girls and then gently pushing to the two girls inside "Ah yes, modeling can be fun and rewarding work but that does not mean it will be easy work. Sidney I am sure you know what I mean."

Once both girls are inside, they will see a single large workshop filled with canvas, brushes, easels and any other item one much expect for an artist. The smell of paint is pungent in the air even with the ventilation humming in the background. While much of the space is dedicated to art, to one corner there looks to be open break room lined with second-hand couches, a small kitchen, and a older TV. In another corner there looks to be and office desk with an aging computer from the late 2000's and a bunch of paperwork. There was also a multi-colored volkswagon beetle parked close to the garage door.

"Now... I wasn't expecting to be working with two muses today so I will need to moment to set up my-" just then Dollop heard the buzzer on the door going off, their head snapping backwards to the door like an owl. "Oh? Is that another? Alright you two, why don't you explore around a bit while I go get the door okay? I'll be back in moment~"

Dollop then leaves Sidney and Shiro to their own devices as she oozes her way back to the front to see whom has arrived.

After some movement and muffled discussion was heard behind the door, it suddenly swings and a womanly figure made entirely of paint now greets Harmonia.

"Hello~" greeted Dollop as she opens her door wide open "Ah, another muse comes me today? Wondrous! So wondrous! Forgive me for not getting to the door sooner madam. I was tending to some models whom had just moments before your gorgeousness has grace my doorstep. Now speaking of which... are you perhaps here too about the model job?"

((Alright so we have quite a few people here. Feel free Mint and Saber to have Sidney and Shiro explore around or talk to one another while Dollop gets Harmonia at the door. BTW, there is no real posting order and we have several people so make sure to tag the person you character is interacting with make it easier for all of us to know whom should respond to who.))

Harmonia couldn't help but be pleased that the womanly figure, who obviously had extremely good taste, had immediately recognized her godly worth and beauty.

"I am," she said, flashing her a smile. "I saw your ad on my way home, and I just could not resist the temptation. "

"I just had to stop by and grace you with perfection," Harmonia informed her as she breezed past the woman, her heels clicking on the floor, into her studio.

"Oh my..." Harmonia stopped and gushed as she looked around at everything, her sense of interior designer immediately piqued. "Such a lovely atelier. Did you decorate it yourself?"

170?! Was this lady nuts? This played out so much differently in Sid's head. She never would've expected to get the pay raised by 30 bucks. Sidney froze up for a second to collect herself before replying. "Aha, yeah, that's even a bit more than I usually get." She rubbed the back of her head. It was so easy that it made her feel a bit guilty.

As she was nudged, Sid made her way inside the building. When Dollop then said that modelling was hard work, she made sure to agree. "Oh, you bet." Though in reality she couldn't see how it was supposed to be a difficult job. Was there something more to it than standing around looking pretty?

When the buzzer rang once again, Sidney's eyes flew to the door. Then she gave Dollop a thumbs up when she told them to explore. Then she looked at Shiro and finally the rest of the room. Oddly enough, some of the stuff inside made her feel like she was in the right time period again.

She finished taking in the general look of the surrounding then turned back to Shiro. "So what's your story? You a student at the academy?"
