"That is the core message of my saying."
Hah'en pointed out. No matter what one did they were always just themselves and no one else, no matter how much they wished or worked or imitated. Which Hah'en never did, she wanted to be just herself and no one else.

Serena was getting slightly too close for comfort, already offering Hah'en tea and even suggesting a second meeting. Distrust flared inside Hah'en, though she kept her face blank. Why was this woman being so friendly? It was approaching a point where it was downright suspicious.
But Hah'en couldn't just leave the question unanswered either. And Hah'en was nothing but honest, so she would also be honest.
"Tea is among my drinks of choice."
Hah'en admitted, but then she nailed Serena with a stern gaze.
"And I do not know you well enough to receive edibles of any kind from you, no matter how relaxing they may be. This may be upsetting for you to hear but I do not trust you."
Hah'en wasn't speaking rudely, her tone was matter-of-fact.
"If we do meet another time it will be in a public place without drink or foods one of us has prepared."

"Don't worry, that is fine with me.", was she radiating her warmth or was it the sunshine? No, certainly Serena was overflowing with a warm but kind energy. "It's not unusual, that people have trust issues with a nurse who looks young and exudes a calming aura.", however Serena still hid that she noticed hints of Hah'en having trust issues with her. After all, if she revealed those hints, things would be most difficult between the two.

"How about... Next we meet, choose your favorite place for us to snack at and-", for a moment, she realized something and giggled low, "You got some questions of your own, didn't you Hah'en? Ask away, no hesitation. I'm an open book."

"My distrust has nothing to do with your occupation, which I was not even aware of, or your outward appearance."
Hah'en pointed out with a slight raise of a brow. Hah'en noticed the strange effect probably caused by the close proximity to this person. A calmness of sorts. It did nothing to clear away Hah'en's suspicion though, but since it seemed to have no effect to her coherent thoughts Hah'en didn't bother creating any mist to dampen the effect.
"You do not know me and yet you act friendly beyond what is considered proper. Surely you can see how this would create suspicion."
Hah'en did take into account that perhaps her presence in social media caused Serena to act so openly but even then it was irregular.

"I do not have any questions."
Hah'en stated. What was the point of asking questions when Serena could very easily just lie to Hah'en? Besides, nothing about the woman interested Hah'en in particular, at least not right now.
"And there is no need to choose a place. I can be found here at this same time on other days as well, that should be enough for a possible second meeting to occur."
Hah'en didn't feel comfortable sharing the places she frequented with Serena, and Hah'en didn't want to share her contact information just yet either.

"At least you didn't have a rifle trained on me out of suspicion.", Serena would probably have a good story about that, but her suddenly slightly sad expression meant it wasn't a very comfortable experience she had, so perhaps it is better to leave this topic untouched. The sunlight-haired girl was surprised at Hah'en having no question to ask, and that much was clear from her changing expression to reflect her slight confusion at that.

"I suppose that's fair...", she didn't know how to gain Hah'en's trust, but perhaps that would come eventually. A message tone came from her phone, and she checked it, with a slightly happier expression. Whatever it was she saw, was probably good. "Seems duty calls me, we must part ways now, Hah'en.", calmly she got up and patted her clothes.
