Caissa was proud of herself. She was building an enterprise and breaking into the Manta Carlos drug market quite easily. But this was just a step, a chapter in the story she wanted to write. But moving forward, if she was ever going to achieve her real goals, she was going to have to cushion herself. There were plenty of ways to do that, but she wanted to make sure that she wasn't going to end up fucking herself.

To that end she had gotten the phone number of one Samuel Lutz, an easy enough feat working in the tutoring office. The text she had sent him had simply been one of academic curiosity and - she had admitted - a bit of personal interest. Demonic contracts and name binding were big factors that could screw Caissa over in the long run. Getting cut off from Earth had helped with that, but it was still a matter of diminishing her weak points.

So she sat in the library, in a quiet corner that she was sure Sam was familiar with. She had two cups of coffee, one of which she was sipping from gingerly while she waited. Caissa had no note taking equipment with her. She didn't need it and she wasn't about to pretend that she did.

Sam was heavily confused when he had gotten the text on his phone at first. Generally speaking he didn't get too many people texting him, and the ones that did were normally those whom he had no particular want or need to talk to.

This particular text though caught his attention, it was not sent by someone he had become heavily familiar with. Not to say that he had never run into Caissa before, since he had a quick run in with her at the M3C and possibly seeing her around the tutoring office which he frequented as he subbed in from time to time for some of the people there.

He looked at the contents of the text and eventually agreed to meet in the school library.

As a result, Sam shouldered his bookbag full of both notes and smaller textbooks as he walked into the library and quickly located Caissa with a smile. He takes a seat opposite from her.

"Sorry to make you wait, brought a few things with me just for reference."

Sam motions to the bookbag.

"So, what exactly do you want to know?"

Well he was a man o get straight to the point. Caissa could appreciate that; it was one of the reasons she actually didn't hate working with Gyres. For all his bluster and arrogance, he was at least a businessman. "It's fine, thanks for meeting with me at least. Coffee? There's cream and sugar in the bag if you want that," she said with a gesture to the cup sitting opposite herself.

"But yeah, straight down to business I guess. It's really simple, honestly. Or, should be. I'm a Goetic demon. Half, really, but might as well be full for our purposes. Goetic Demons, as I'm sure you know, are the ones most commonly summoned by mortals. They're the ones offering power, wealth, knowledge... all that."

"I get summoned a lot. Less than I used to, since Manta Carlos got all... separated from Earth. But still more than I'd like. But I'm at my limit. I've read every book about the Goetia that I can get my hands on and I'm still not any closer to answers. So I figured... expert opinion. Or at least more expert than myself."

Caissa gestured to Sam, giving him a small half-smile, one side of her lips pulling up in a look that just screamed exhaustion. She was definitely going out of her way to be personable here, but she needed to be.
