Atalia walked to the lake barfoot in her usual small white dress her blue hair hanging to her feet. Chris had said he wanted to meet her so now she was waiting for him.
Atalia was starting to worry that he was going to come when he came running down the lake. A giant smiled grew across her face. "Chris!" she called and started towards him.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
He grabbed her hand and got up. Great. Now she thinks I'm clumsy.
"Oh yeah, I needed to talk to you..."
Chris looked around.
"Do you think this place is private enough? I want this to between you, me and no-one else."
He had heard of Judas Anderson being caught on camera at the lake kissing a girl. He didn't like the sound of that.
Atalia smiled at him
I think this place is fine its wonderful here." she said moving towards the lake and sitting down putting her feet in the water.
She patted the ground next to her.
"Come on sit down." she said with a smile
Chris took a seat.
"Atalia, I need to tell you something..."
This was it. This was make or break time. If Chris screwed this up, he'd never forgive himself.
Say it!
Could he do it? What if she hated him and never talked to him again?
"I..." Just say it!
She wouldn't. He knew that.
"I...I've fallen in love with you." No! You idiot! Sorry. Words are like toothpaste - after they're out, you can't get them back in.
Now he had to see if she felt the same...
