As Myth regained the Tower heights, he landed far back from the edge, pulling his wings in close, he did not retract them, just folded them on his back.

"I'll just keep these handy in case something else happens, although I think maybe you should come away from the edge, the railing here seems to be faulty."

Myth was visibly shaken from his ordeal, he was fine with flying, but falling was another matter. Shivering slightly, the night seemed colder now, Myth drew on his other power, causing a small sphere of fire to form and coalesce in his hand, throwing off comforting waves of heat.

"I hope you don't mind, this sorta reminds me of a camping trip, sitting around a fire, gazing up at the night sky, of course this is one messed up campout, don't you agree."

As she saw the fire, Amore took a quick step backwards. She didn't hear his words, ony a buzzing noise in her ears. She knew fire could kill her, or any vampire, for that matter. Maybe he knew she was one, and was tring to kill her. She wasn't sure. Sure, he had just warned her about the railing, but maybe that was just to give her a false sense of security.

Licking her suddenly dry lips, she gave a jerky nod and took another step backwards.

As Myth warmed himself by his fire, he glanced over and saw Amore's fear. The fire vanished in an instant, as he was instantly sorry for having made it.

"I'm sorry, I'm really truly sorry. I didn't realize I'd scare you so much, I have to remember that even I was once scared of that power, I'm really sorry and I promise I'll never do that around you again."

His words registering, Amore stopped backing up and wiped her face void of emotion. She blinked and saw he must not have started the fire in hopes of scaring--or killing--her. Giving a tiny smile, she shook her head.

"No.....it's fine."

ooc: Sorry for taking so long, and I'd like to tie this up before Monday, cause then I disappear for two weeks without a computer...sorry.

IC: Myth stood back up, and moved back over towards the edge, his wings rustling slightly, as he half opened them, before bringing them back again. He stepped over to Amore, and stood by her, but not leaning on the rail.

"Well, if you won't move away from the edge, then I'll move closer, as a just in case." Myth smiled at Amore, in a joking manner, taking the seriousness out of his tone, but he meant the words.

"Well, if we aren't using fire for warmth, then maybe my wings will do," Myth smiled a little sheepishly now, but pressed on, "After all, it's to grand a night to turn in so soon.

OOC: Okay. That's fine. If we don't wrap it up, then we can just start it up again after you get back...*shrug*

IC:

As he stepped closer and spoke, Amore frowned in confusion. "Why?" Of course, he didn't know that even if she fell and landed hard against the ground, she wouldn't get hurt or die.

Amore shook her head. "Not that cold..." She smiled at him.

Myth shrugged, so be it, but he was confused as to why she wasn't shivering so high up, at night, with wind chill, it was colder here, he was used to it from flying, but oh well.

Letting his wings settle at his back once more, Myth stood there, silent, unable to think of something to say.

Amore stepped away from the edge and looked around. She finally just gave a slight shrug and sat down. "You can sit down if you want." She wasn't sure if he would or not, but she could at least be nice and ask.
