Mery and Nicolas

Nicolas nodded his head somewhat sadly when she told him what had happened. He had been about to say he was sorry, but he didn't know if she would want his sympathy. He decided to say it anyway, the worse that could happen was that she would be mad at him. Not like he wanted her to be. "I'm sorry..." he said quietly, a bit hesitantly as well.

At her shrug, he was a bit relieved. He nodded in some sort of agreement to what she had said, even though he knew she couldn't see it. He chuckled softly when she apologized for her rambling. "It's fine," he said. "Wasn't like you were going on and on and on about it." He smiled, then looked around. He didn't know what to say, and was honestly wondering when she wanted to go back inside. It wasn't like he was impatient or anything, it was just that it was kind of cold out here.

"When should we go back in there?" he asked, his voice quiet and sounding a bit curious, not impatient in the slightest.

Nicolas shook his head. Whenever he wanted to? Well, he supposed he would have to choose. "In a few minutes, maybe?" he asked. He didn't mind the cold, he just didn't want either of them to get sick. He waited for an answer, knowing he would stay out here for as long as she wanted to.
