Ah. There it was. His fear. She blinked involuntarily, containing her interest. Never before had someone's name popped up. Who the heck was Pix? She didn't have much time to dwell on the subject, as the Aussie introduced himself as Skye.

She found his grin rather infectious, and matched it with a half grin of her own, bringing out a dimple in her cheek. She couldn't help but laugh as he mentioned charades. Not a giggly girlish laugh, just a pure laugh of amusement. "Well, considering how hard mine would be to mime, I'll go with an introduction. Luthien." she extended her long fingered hand to shake his, as she'd been taught, though her Kiwi ladened voice was full of tomboyish amusement, as she raised a dark eyebrow at him.

She rewarded herself with a pat on the back, as this was the Loo she knew. She figured it was probably the new school, but she was normally far friendlier than she had been for the past few weeks.

"Just Akane," he replied, still sticking to his routine of dialogue less than three words. But, was it him, or was this Skye too, peppy? He flinched slightly on the inside when he had said 'charades,' several bad memories coming out. It was in kindergarten and he was almost touched...

He shook his head clearing his head of the thoughts, and attempted a small smile. He needed exercise for his lip muscles anyway.

Skye removed a hand from his pocket in order to shake the hand offered to him, after doing so he placed his fingers in the pocket once more. His gaze then shifted to the younger boy, the thought smiling must be unnatural popping into the blond's head.

"Right, do I even want to know what you two are doing in abandoned hallways, in the morning, when there are no classes?" he questioned, his tone amused, a blond brow rising a bit higher after each pause he took while speaking. As he spoke, it was obvious that there was another accent modifying his speech, the vowels especially seeming to be drawled.

"I was up on the roof. Then, well," he stopped, not knowing how exactly to go on. He felt uncomfortable saying more than five words at a time; well that was his habit. He decided to continue, hoping that this person would know what he was talking about, "I fell."

"I just fell..." he trailed, eyes staring downward at his feet. They shuffled slightly, and he shiftd his weight to his left and then right.

In came a new crew of emotions, and she too shifted her gaze to Akane as well. The corner of her mouth twitched in a bit fo a smirk, but she quickly contained it. Even the emotionless had emotions.

"Right, do I even want to know what you two are doing in abandoned hallways, in the morning, when there are no classes?"

She returned her sea-foam green eyes to Skye, and delicately raised her eyebrow once more. The first thing that ran into her mind, she immediately pushed out, deciding that he couldn't have meant that. After that, a million sarcastic replies ran through her head. 'Plotting the demise of all men.' 'Preparing to blow up the world' 'Allowing my murderous thoughs to rampage' she almost opened her mouth to say one of them, and she had to remind herself,'Control..' "I was training." she said truthfully, forcing herself to remain still.

"Good, for a moment I thought you were sneaking away to do something inappropriate, like study," his cheery words sounded after a relieved sort of chuckle.
"Well not good about the falling since that's dangerous and you could've hurt yourself," after stating such Skye managed to put two and two together, "I guess that means you can phase through things Akane?" He decided to pose the question of what Luthien was training for after he received an answer from the boy.

"I can, yes." He didn't go on further, stopping at just that.

His eyes studied a small bug skittering along the ground. He didn't mind, but it was grating that people knew what he could do. But he wasn't a conversalitionlist either. Two people, older than him, plus they liked talking more than him. He should attempt to at last. Wasn't it the reason why he came here?

"I can't control it though. It's random. I never fall whenever it comes, only ocassionally when gravity actually affects me."

Skye nodded after his explanation, though he couldn't exactly sympathize with his words. For one, his power wasn't the same obviously, and more importantly, his power had grown in a controlled environment, though there had been a time when he had absolutely no power over his ability. Quite odd to be talking to someone only to have everything around you stop, and you didn't know how to make it go again.

"So what're you training for?" Skye returned his thoughts to his neglected question, eyes shifting so that Luthien was in his field of vision.

Loo shrugged. "I don't know, really.. Mostly life in particular." she paused, folding her hands behind her back, and holding them there in a comfortable position, "That, and just in case me or my sister get jumped by a large deal of people who don't like us." she added lightly, as a matter of fact, she said it so well, only a well trained watcher of people would know that the situation had acctually happened to her before.

She wiggled her bare toes on the dusty floor, curling them under to keep herself a bit warmer. It was suddenly very cold, and she repressed a shiver, hoping that she wasn't the only one who'd felt the sudden change of temperature.

"Personal experience?" he questioned, blond brow rising beneath the shaggy hair covering his forehead, customary grin fading until his face was neutral. Noting her shiver, he looked down to her bare toes, then blocked out thought for a second to try and feel the temperature for himself. There had been a decrease of warmth, and the abandoned hall in winter wasn't exactly the best place to remain toasty. Ever the gentleman,

Skye once more cleared himself of thought, 'Stop' was his mental command. And just like that the time, and people, around him froze. Whistling cheerfully he unzipped his sweatshirt, resting it on Luthien's shoulders, took off his brown sneakers, and placed them on her feet though they were obviously too big. Returning to his former spot, his expression was the same as before, though there was a glint of mischief in his eyes, and he was now left in a long sleeved brown shirt, and white socks. 'Resume' was his second command, and time indeed continue. Skye waited for either a comment on her gained apparel, or an answer to his question.
