Meetings And School Projects

He'd chuckle. "Sandwiches and soup are good, simple but good," her say with a smile as he wrote down the foods she listed. "It's kinda my cheer up food, when I'm feeling down it always makes me feel a little better."

"Where I come from foods were pretty simple, breads and cheeses and such," he'd say, enjoying the conversation. "Here there's a lot more options," he still occasionally enjoyed those simple food, but he loved the other options.

He'd look at her, tilting her head. "Soup and sandwiches sound good tonight," he'd motion to the cookies, "plus I could make more of those." He'd chuckle a little. "I could cool for you tonight if you'd like," he'd offer, his cheeks blushing that much more.

"Y-yeah, if tonight is ok," he'd offered to make her dinner, so he wanted that offer to be sincere. "I don't have any plans, so I'm free."

He'd clear his throat, still blushing some. "What's your favorite kind of soup?" he'd ask with a smile, "I went shopping recently so I can probably make any kind you want."

The idea of having a new friend over for dinner sounded. "No problem, family is important," it was good she had a family that cared about her, parents and sibling.

He'd nod, her liking most soups would make cooking dinner easy, but he'd definitely make one of the ones she preferred.

Then he'd glance at his bag, blushing again and chuckling a little. "Sorry, guess I distracted us from our homework." It hadn't really been his intention, but it was proving to be a pleasant distraction, seems he was making friends again.

"So uh...I can pick you up for dinner then?" dinner was happening so plans were needed. "Or...actually we can go after we do the project if that's ok?" He was actually smiling a bit now, nervous but also kind of excited too.

"Right," he'd nod, "and I can always fly you home if you'd like." He didn't expect her to take up that offer, at least not right away.

The angel would chuckle. "Yeah, my schedule is clear so Wednesday sounds good," had smile, "I'll bring more snacks for us." She seemed nice, fun to hang out with, easier to talk to than some of the other students.

Pulling out his other notebook he'd flip to the pages that held info on the project. This meet up had certainly had unexpected results. He was both excited and nervous about having her over for dinner.
