Meeting People

Miles was relaxing from everything that had happened since his arrival. He was sitting on a bench staring at the sky. He was happy to have some time away from his training that he was doing with Nakata. He liked watching the sky it allowed him to just think to himself. He saw a flock of birds flying overhead. He was starting to feel like training. He picked up the spear he had brought with him and started to practice his forms.

Since he was new around here he didn’t know many people it would probably be better to meet people. He had met three people so far “Nakata, Tien, and Sorcha,” Miles said to himself. He closed his eyes and let his body flow with the movements. He was starting to get better at this. He would make this spear into something even better in time. He opened his eyes and stood in place, he felt like something was about to happen.

“Sure. My names Miles, what’s your name and power?” Miles said happily. Miles handed her the spear and went over to the bench to get his sword. “You know how to use that; don’t want you to hurt yourself?” Miles looked at the girls eyes there was something that was bugging him but he let it slide.

Miles was happy to meet someone new. He made sure the sheath was on his sword tight and put it on his back. Miles was going to practice his hand to hand since it was his weak area. “Have you got your dorm assignment yet?”

“Well, my power is being a half-demon,” Miles said, “My powers are based around fire.” Miles said holding out his palm. Miles made a flame in his hand. He shaped his flame into a flower and looked at it. “I can also fly and do some shape shifting.” Miles closed his hand around the flower extinguishing the fire.

“I also make magic weapons.” Miles held his sword in his hand, “you might not be able to see but this sword is electric.” Miles took the sheath off the sword and let the sword’s sparks show a little while making sure to keep them on the sword. He didn’t want to hurt the girl he had just met she seemed nice. "Okay about the dorms."

“Thank you, I made it myself. Let’s go for a walk,” Miles said, “It’ll be good to stretch the legs.” Miles put his sword back into its sheath and put it back onto his back. “Can you use your winds to fly?” Miles thought about where they should go. “Are you hungry, we could go to the cafeteria?”

Miles put the spear on his back with the sword and then realized “Umm, we should stop by the dorms first; it would be a little weird for me to take both of these weapons there.” Miles offered his hand to Kaze. “Shall we go?”

Miles started to lead Kaze to the dorms. She seemed a nice enough girl and she had her own sword, he would try to get a look at it later. “I’ll take you to the student housing office first.” Miles walked at a lite pace so he wouldn’t rush her. “You see people by their auras right what does mine look like to you?” Miles wanted to know how the girl saw him. “While you’re getting your dorm room I’ll go put my weapons up since you can’t come into the boy’s dorm.”
