Haku got genuinely curious at how Tribdan wanted to move on, change the subject, wondering what happened. But something Soosei thought made him agree and say "Very well... Do tell us, what curiosity you may have of us, or what direction you seek to take this conversation to? Because I have no objections..."

Tribdan shook their head, raising a few fingers to their temple. "I think I need to lay down and think. Or work and think. Whichever will help clear my mind the fastest."

All that talk about taking care of oneself and not mentioning stuff that will trigger the headaches, and Tribdan had failed to do both.

"I don't want to come off as rude, talking to you... two... really was a nice and new experience. Do you have a cellphone? I'd be happy to talk over phone or visit while I work in the woods."

"I understand, we all need a "me" time every now and then... So I'll leave you be.", Haku answered with a nod, "With that, I might as well let her be too. Is it okay, Soosei?". "This is fine, Haku, we will talk more later over tea.", and without further ado, Haku gave them a bow and fizzled out of existence.

"I do, although I don't walk around with my phone too much, so I might miss a few calls for minutes if I'm nowhere around my shack. Don't think I'm dismissing your call or anything." Soosei explained as she gave them her contact info.

"Oh, I didn't mean to..." Haku was already gone before they could get the rest of their words out.

"I hope I didn't make him feel unwanted," they muttered as they pulled out their phone. Several people had helped Tribdan build the funds to buy a phone better suited for their hands. This smartphone was much simpler to use than some tiny flip phone.

When the two finished exchanging contacts, Tribdan nodded at Soosei. "I'm sure I won't be difficult to find in the woods. Sometimes I help with gathering supplies for the locals on the waterfront. I try to work during the day when it's easier to see and less predators out for a hunt."

"Oh, don't worry. If anything, he's happy to have met you in person.", there was no faltering in her tone nor in her smile, no hint that either Soosei or her other half were any upset. "I'm highly visible too. Although depending on how playful I feel at the time, you might feel me near but not see me.", she gave a brief giggle, amused at her minor mischievous thought.

A relieve expression spread throughout Tribdan's face. Then they raised an eyebrow at Soosei's playfulness.

"Oh? Be careful. I consider myself a gentle giant, but you'd do well to not surprise me." Their own mischievous smile returned Soosei's giggle.

The joking had helped lighten the headache, yet it was still there. Before the smile and friendly atmosphere could fade, they told Soosei, "I should get going now. It was a pleasure to meet you and... you," before walking away and towards the school.

"I'll do well to remember...", Soosei was amused at how well Tribdan took it. A contrast to the more serious conversation they had earlier, "But see you, Tribdan. He will be waiting until we meet again.". While they headed towards the school, Soosei would continue to wander the shoreline, alone, but her mind now thinking different, more mundane questions, such as "what to have for meal late at night."
