Their brows scrunched up in deep though. Anger flashed on their face, then deep sadness. "So much awfulness can happen, is what I'm saying."

They shook their head, suddenly feeling awkward at having brought this up in a first meeting. "I still advise you to consider an organization for that problem."

"You heard them, no more drinking with Tanuki until you start telling a sob story.", Haku made her a little more embarrassed, but soon hugged her tightly and lifted her, causing her to giggle, "I wouldn't forgive myself if anything were to happen to my other self."

Tribdan looked back and forth between the two in confused silence. "I don't... I don't understand how this works. Is this a joke? Because whether you're the same person or not, you," they focused their eyes firmly on Haku, "should also take care of yourself. Both of yourselves."

Haku promptly let Soosei back on her feet, with her still finding what he did very funny, before he addressed Tribdan. "Well, if something happened to her while I was out and about, or unable to act, it would be my fault for lowering my guard, despite both of us being equally strong and skilled. Yet, you are completely right, we should take good care of both of us.", he responded.

The question was itching Tribdan's throat. It was distracting. Irritating. "Well, with that out of the way... how separate are you... two? You speak about each other in a similar fashion to siblings. I thought this was a one mind, two bodies situation, not cloning where you're both separate but have the same base."

That way I can just query him to continue something-", as she finished saying her piece, Haku promptly continued: "-I can easily continue from where she was. But when I am not manifested, our thoughts are as one. Yet sometimes she feels like talking to someone, so she "asks herself questions" because my thought process can kick in and answer. Compare it to an artist thinking out loud "What is missing here?", and a few seconds after they answer it themselves, "Oh, a little blue! That's right!""

Tribdan nodded slowly at the explanation. "Yes... I understand that. I've had those moments myself, but I try to not pay them any mind. More often than not, I get a headache and can feel myself... splitting. It's unpleasant."

A shiver went through their spine. Splitting... "I'd rather not put myself in a situation where I literally split. I have to be careful about controlling my thoughts there."

Haku made silence in thought, crossing his arms while pondering on why Tribdan would have such a headache. "I... Doubt you will ever split. Unlike me, who didn't have anyone to go to for advice, you at least have a family and close friends, right? And you don't live in the forest, do you? If you did... We wound wind up as neighbors!", Soosei saw a silver lining in the unconfirmed possibility of having another person close.

"I don't see why me living in the forest is connected to me being split, but, no, I do not. I live in the Starlight Academy dorms. As for splitting... our cases are completely different. I literally have two souls. Yes, I have family, no, I don't have close friends, but that doesn't—" Their words hit a wall. This was exactly what they were trying to avoid.

"We should move on before... before I get tired or dizzy or something happens."
