Michael sat in a small cave behind a large rock. He was talking.
Alright, are you ready?
Yeah. If we don't have the energy to do it now, then we never will. We've been meditating in the shadows for three days now.
He nodded, and both his sides, fell into sync.(sp)
Stretching out his arms, he wrapped the darkness around them, slowly weaving them into shape, and then he tore them swiftly, and attempted to attach them to his back.
But then something happened, the shadow grew larger.
What’s happening?
I don't know!!
The shadow loomed over him, and began descending.
'No!' he cried out loud. It's our power, it was too strong!!
The shadow slowly engulfed him.
Then a shutter ran through it like an electric charge.
What's happening now? He asked his other half, but no one answered. Suddenly he felt a deep emptiness in his mind. 'He's gone.' He whispered.
'No.' He heard a familiar voice say. 'I'm right here.'
The shadows calmed and slowly began to form a solid shape. Michael gasped and stepped back as he saw a silhouette of himself in front of him. 'You...how did?'
He froze. The taking a small step foreword.
He smiled.
The shadow boy smiled back at him.
'This should be interesting.'

Beatrice hadn't been, in the very least, happy about going into the forest again. Normally she steared clear of dangerous places such that. Simple because she, for one, liked her life. And didn't plan on endingit anytime soon. Unfortunately, as always, curiosity got the better of her. It just ate the girl up from inside that she'd yet explored the forest. Well, really explored it. Oh sure, she'd been in it once... but only for a few mere seconds.

Pushing branches and stumbling over roots, Beatrice finally made it deep enough into the forbidden forest to where if she looked back... she couldn't see the entrance anymore. Joy. The dark haired girl silently thought, rolling her eyes as she continued to wander deeper into the midst.

After a few moments, Beatrice heard some noises. Natural forest noises, mind you, but it still freaked her. "Oh, come off it! It's just a bunch of stupid wild animals." She murmured to herself, quickening her pace. That is, until the girl heard a loud outburst. "No!" Someone yelled, and Beatrice paused dead in her tracks. "No? No what? What's 'no'? What's this rubbish of 'no'?"

Glancing around, the female was finally able to track down just where the cry had came from... which was a rock. Well, not exactly a 'rock', so to speak. It was behind the rock, but Beatrice didn't know that. "Oh, lovely, a talking rock. So this is why it's a forbidden forest? Boy, I'm shakin' in my boots now." She mumbled sarcastically, wandering over towards the rock in which seemed to be in front of a cave..

((I'm guessing it's night? Didn't know...))

((I didn't specify. It actually makes more sense, so yeah, night. ^_^ ))

Hearing a voice outside, the two boys looked to eachother, then quickly melded together in a shadow, and slid back to the wall of the cave. Peaking out from behind the rock Michael could see a girl approaching them. Did she see us?
I doubt it.

As the girl came closer he retreated into teh cave again. What should we do.
Just act like nothing happened I suppose.

Nodding, he slipped out of the shadows and returned to human form, both sides of himself inside.
Exiting the cave he called, 'Hey there! What brings you out into the forest?'

Beatrice jumped at the sight of a human slinking out from behind the rock. It'd surprised her, and the widened eyes showed it all too well. "What brings you out into the forest?'" The unknown male had questioned, and Beatrice couldn't help but open and close her mouth countless time, as if she was trying to speak... but nothing would come out.

Finally, the girl cleared her throat. "I have my reasons." She replied crossly, sticking her nose in the air. Honestly, what business was it of his of what she was doing there? None, none at all. She answered herself silently, crossing her arms before staring over at the character.

"Actually," Beatrice said, more pleasantly, as she placed a hand upon the large rock. "I had been just listening to this rock here. I didn't realize this forest consisted of talking rocks. Honestly! It'd just said something a minute ago. Pity you weren't here." She went on, as truthfully as ever. The girl, actually, thought she heard a talking rock! Oh how very stupid Beatrice could come off at times.

He opened his mouth to tell her it had been him, but decided against it. She seems to have grown attached to it, he thought, smiling inwardly.
Instead he said, 'Yes well, this forest holds many interesting things. Werewolves, vampires.' He paused.
'Then again, all those things can be found at the school as well.' Shrugging, he leaned against the wall of the cave, surveying the land around them.

"Uh-huh, sure. I've only ran into a couple, quote on quote, vampires in the school," The green eyed girl replied, running her slender fingers through her dark red hair. Beatrice had an obvious favor for redheads, so it was no wonder she kept choosing her appearance as one. "and they weren't very interesting at all." She finished her previous sentence, snapping her gaze away from the so-called "talking rock" and onto the boy.

He seemed to be resting against some sort of cave now, scanning his surroundings. For what reason? Beatrice didn't know, nor cared, really. It just then accured to her that he wasn't scared a single bit. What was with that? The girl wondered, arching her brow lightly before re-crossing her arms and staring hard at Michael.

Normally, the girl would've been scolded for being so impolite. I mean, really, staring blankly at someone for... well, she didn't really know how long she stared. But it was long enough to where you'd think the girl had gone off in a daze of some sort.

Finally, and abruptly, Beatrice began to speak. "So, you're from the school then, hm?" She said, more of a statment rather than an actual question. "Isn't it past your bedtime?"

Raising an eyebrow he said, 'Well, I'd say it's not. Then again I've never been one for following rules.' He stopped there and said nothing else. Instead he began studying her. Nice hair.
Obviously not dyed.
He heard someone reply. Smiling to himself he looked away from the girl, he had lost interest.
Then he broke the silence saying, 'So I take it you go to the school also. Strange, I've never seen you around. But perhaps you're one of those anti-social types.' He shrugged once again. Not really caring whether she answered or not.
We should get out of here.
Tell me about it, she's not interesting at all.
Yes, and we need to make sure we don't loose this power.

Sighing he thought, Alright, I'll wait untill she says something, then make some excuse to leave.
And what will the excuse be?
I'll just tell her that I have an alternate personality, and I need to go so I can make him a body out of shadows.
Lovely.
I'll just say I need to food.
Lovelier.

Beatrice tried holding back a glare once the stranger implied she was 'anti-social'. Oh, really, how could he? "The school is fairly big, you know," She slowly replied, lowering her eyes slightly before continuing in that icy tone of hers. "and I don't see how someone like you could keep up with that many people." The dark haired girl said, giving Michael quite a stare by now. Unfortunately, not one of the good kinds.

Rolling her eyes, Beatrice let out a long frustrated breath. This wasn't going nowhere, she knew. He was about as boring as a turtle. Well, in Beatrice's opinion. If she only knew the stranger was actually two in one, maybe he'd strike her interest. But, alas, the longer they just stood there with nothing said, the more boring everything soon became.

"Oh, yes, well. Lovely meeting- er- actually, it was pretty boring, save for the talking rock." Beatrice said, all very quickly too. "Good-day- er- night." She said (fore it was night), as she turned from the boy and jolted from the area to plunge deeper into the forest. The girl hadn't expected to run into someone while in the forest, simply because she didn't want anyone to go back to the school and tattle on her. Perhaps he wont run off and tell the teachers. But you can never be sure, so... The girl trailed off, now, hopefully, out of earshot from Michael, as she quickly forced a different appearance upon herself.

The appearance Beatrice took on now was of a fairly skinny boy, eighteen or so, with shaggy black hair, pale skin, and the darkest of black eyes. She, or should I say 'he', was wearing black pants, slightly on the loose side, with a matching black shirt. Luckily, the Lavina girl had mastered her ability so... that morphing herself as a guy was absolutely no problem.

There's no way that boy can go tattle now. Fore he'd be telling the Headmaster there's a red-haired girl in the forest. The, now male, Beatrice thought to himself, smirking lightly as he crossed his arms and slowly began to wander deeper into the midst.

((*laughs* I thought that'd be funny. Beatrice... male. -cackles- Oh, if my discription wasn't good enough for the black haired boy, here's a picture... LINK))

'How sad,' Michael said to the empty space. 'She thinks we're boring.'
Closing his eyes he seperated his two sides.
'It is a shame,' Replied a boy who looked like him. 'But oh well, that's what happens when you're a freak that nobody likes. He smiled at Michael, his teeth blocks of black shadow. He was all shadow, exept for his eyes, wich were bright white against the dark face, the red irises sparkeling besides murky shadows.
'We never succeeded in making our wings you know,' Michael sad.
'Yes, that is a shame. Though I think this might be even more usefull.'
'Maybe,' He replied. His eyes flashing.
The two boys laughed, then silently made their way deeper into the forest.
