"Oh, okay then." She supposed a nonbinary gender identity would make this easier for Cynthia. "In that case what pronouns would you prefer I use for you?"

Chloe would start moving back towards the cafe entrance. In any case she needed to finish eating.

Female pronouns made sense. Chloe nodded.

They sat down again. Chloe picked up her soup spoon again. It hovered over her bowl for a moment. She was looking at Cynthia, lost in thought.

"Yeah... We're going to need to get your entire wardrobe figured out. What kind of look do you think you'll go for? Something tomboyish or androgynous? Girly and dressy? Lots of bright colors?" Chloe smirked as she sipped at her soup. That last question was meant as a joke; she imagined the spawn of darkness wouldn't be caught dead in a bright, cheery pastel color.

"Green would go great with your hair," Chloe said, trying to be encouraging.

Though the more Chloe thought about it, the more Cynthia's hair color bothered her. How could it be naturally green? Why was something like this bothering her? Chloe had just almost being part of a conversation with the sentient essense of shadow, which was apparently some kind of eldritch abomination, and here she was getting all worried about this girl's natural hair color.

"Do you think this will affect your cult a lot?" Chloe asked. She was getting close to finishing all of her food.
