A noticeable closemouthed smile would appear on his face after hearing Huilu grant him any credit in her settling. It was a nice gesture and reinforced his belief that he was indeed doing something of worth. When the time came he would know that Huilu was once again steady. When that day came then he would be ready with a new list of things for them to do together and journeys to have. While his current schedule for India wouldn't be applicable anymore he would relish in the opportunity of making another one with Huilu this time. The thought alone made his mind drift into possible futures as his body shoveled down more food. Whether it was his depleted stomach or the taste of the food Irso was taking down great amounts of food as Huilu spoke.

"Feeling poetic today hmm. Spices dancing on your tongue is a rather delicious way of complimenting the food." He chuckled slightly " The food will surely be amazing but I can't wait to go shopping for books personally. I've even ordered a few shelves for my study and made some space in the office by bringing some books home." Irso spoke with a rather proud and excited tone.

He already had a list of tomes he wished to bring back and a professor not far from his office had directed him to a shop of a more magical persuasion in New Delhi. While that was meant to be a surprise for Huilu he had to constantly keep himself in check of divulging the number of secret locations he'd planned. He knew she was very free spirited so a strict schedule was sure to not last long in her path.

"The number of suitcases we'll need shall blot out the sun." He was joking but he was assured that between the two of them they would need a lot of space. Magical options were available but he hadn't looked too deeply into them yet to bring it up to Huilu with confidence.

"I believe it is much more rare for me to not feel poetic."
Huilu in turn commented, joining Irso's chuckling, and then she concentrated on listening to the rest of his words. The way he was so excited for all the books he was planning on buying was endearing, almost lovable, and Huilu pushed back te urge to give him a kiss. In this situation that might've been slightly strange.
"It is good that you reminded me, I must clear out space for all the pieces of art and clothing I will purchase. I have seen examples of Indian art, it is astonishing."
Huilu did feel guilty Irso could not get his beloved tomes earlier because of her. But Huilu did not dwell on it, she didn't want to ruin their time together, and they had all the time in the world for going on journeys together. In many ways.
"Perhaps I should buy a new residence all-together to fit it all."
Huilu joked and chuckled, but it wasn't all a joke. She had taken notice, that this current residence lacked in size, and she wanted S'loo and Whisp to be able to have their own rooms and perhaps for her to have a separate workshop that wasn't the garage. So Huilu was considering purchasing her very own house, as this one she still paid rent for.

Irso's joke made a laugh escape Huilu's mouth, because it wasn't all too unbelievable of a thought. Surely the suitcases wouldn't block the sun, but there would certainly be many of them. Huilu wasn't worried about being able to carry them all, she was strong, but transporting would be a problem. And immediately the possibility of making use of pocket dimensions or other magical way of storing crossed through Huilu's mind.
"I am certain two versatile minds such as ours will come up with a solution that will allow us to shop to our hearts' content."
Huilu said with confidence in her voice.
"But one thing I am certain of, and that is that no matter how many things we purchase or what places we will explore it will be all the more exhilarating of an experience with you."

She was right, between the two of them it wouldn't be much trouble to coming up with a solution to their luggage situation. As long as they considered the veil and how to go unnoticed while off the island then an idea like pocket dimensions or shrinking tools wouldn't be too hard to work with. His mind drifting to more solutions he caught the tail end of Huilu's words which were flattering him once again.

"The honor is all mind Lady Ehr'Sha. The trip would be lesser without your presence now that I've shared so many other experiences with you. Plus, how could I pass up the opportunity to be alone with you for a great number of nights? I get to be the first one to see the adventure you have and the joys you experience. I can even get your help picking something up for myself."

Irso began thinking about how he was gonna fit the things from his future trip to Japan. His office and home could only hold so much and he couldn't help but think ahead to the trinkets he wanted to pick up for his co-workers and friends. It would be a task in itself just organizing his house to make space for the incoming items. Irso made an audible hmmm noise and looked around the room. Huilu had a neatly ran place so her help would surely be welcomed. Though manpower was never the issue when it came to him.

Pushing the thoughts aside he focused back to the present where he couldn't help but nudge into Huilu's cold body playfully. "And If you keep flattering me so then my love for you will overfill again and I'll feel the need to kiss you." He appreciated the flattery but at the levels, Huilu was laying it on he could feel his ego inflating and deflating every time. He was only trying to be himself and the fact that she said such kinds words meant a lot to him, especially from someone he cared for so deeply.

It was clear that Irso cared for Huilu just as much as she did for him, but still hearing Irso say such words made Huilu warm up inside and out and she exhaled, letting out a sigh of happiness.
"Your words are nearly as, if not more, poetic as mine, you paint a beautiful picture in my mind. I cannot wait to share those experiences with you. And I especially cannot wait to help you pick something for yourself, and for you to do the same for me."
It was in fact a very exciting thought, for the two of them to choose an item for each other. It would be a wonderful way to commemorate their first trip together, and immortalize memories.

It was in Huilu's nature to flatter and praise, and Irso had certainly witnessed it before as well. Huilu smiled up at him with a slightly teasing look in her eyes.
"You must be aware I never give empty praise, Sir Vudemo. But I will gladly keep sharing my flattering opinions if it means there is a possibility of me receiving a kiss."
Huilu chuckled, shamelessly admitting that the thought of kissing Irso was very tempting. During this time they had spent together the temperature around Huilu had gradually began rising, and now it was only slightly cooler, evidence of the fact that Huilu was very much enjoying this time with Irso.

Irso gave a plain-faced smile " I'll have to save that love for our vacation then. When we go ill release a wave of kisses this world has yet to see. But for now..." He leaned over and kissed the temple of her head "That will have to suffice. I'll just add a kiss for each one of your flattering remarks so be wary lady Ehr'sha." Irso chuckled taking down more food and cleaning his mouth with a number of well-placed dabs and wipes. This was nice, the peace, he loved the hectic nature of the universe but to say he didn't cherish moments like this where the world was finite for a moment would be a lie.

Seeing Huilu smile made his day all that much brighter and of course, filling his stomach with food was a major help in setting a somber mood within his soul. " So tell me, was the sculpture any good?" The question was rather random but he did like hearing about Huilu's art and the idea that she'd been working before he arrived was nesting in the corner of his mind. "Or did I stop you part way through, hope I didn't ruin your outflow."

His spoon clattered onto the now empty plate and it was only then Irso realized how much and how quickly he'd gone through the curry, thankfully he pulled over the next dish he'd prepared for himself with a look a hunter would give its prey. There were many perks to this form he'd created and the lack of weight he put on despite the amount he could stomach was astronomical. He didn't require to eat that much just like he didn't need to keep his receded fangs but the idea of having an expansive stomach just like being able to taste the blood of others was something that was alluring to him.

The idea of a wave of kisses was both amusing and touching to Huilu, and it made her look forward to their trip even more. Naturally the kiss she received on her temple was more than welcomed, and Huilu had a happy smile on her face. Irso's lips were very warm against her slightly cooler skin.
"This does not encourage me to be any less flattering towards you, Sir Vudemo. Does the saying not go 'Good things come to those who wait'?"
Huilu said lovingly, and returned the kiss by giving a light peck on Irso's cheek after he was done cleaning his face. Even though there was a chill around Huilu her lips had heat. Although the chill was also almost gone due to Huilu's mood soaring high. This moment and this exchange was making her feel better than she had felt in days.

Huilu was also finishing up her food, and set her spoon down as Irso presented the question about the statue she had been working on. Huilu looked at him and wondered for a short moment if she should mention what exactly she had been doing. But in the end Huilu wasn't ashamed of her process and saw no reason to not share it with Irso.
"I was implementing a new process of creation I learned not long ago. It is what I use to go through my emotions. I give form to whatever feeling my stress evokes, and after I complete the piece I erase it gradually. It is similar to the sand mandalas of the buddhist monks, that they spend long periods of time making, only to erase them after completion. Although my intent differs from theirs."
Huilu explained, trying to keep herself from getting too emotional. But she did smile at Irso at the end and gave his arm a small squeeze.
"You did not interrupt me, I had just finished erasing my last piece when you arrived. You were in fact the perfect end to my self-reflection."

The look on Irso's face as he began on his next dish was very familiar to Huilu. She was a dragon, after all, it was a face she saw often and one she had made on many occasions as well. It was in fact fascinating to see such an expression on Irso, and Huilu couldn't help but wonder if Irso had occupied a more predatory form in his very long and eventful past. But now was probably not the time to discuss that and Huilu was very much full for now, so she let Irso continue dining as she turned her attention to the show on the TV. It had progressed quite far, and Huilu was confused as to what was happening since she had been much more focused on Irso thus far.

Irso tapped his chin as he imagined how it must've felt to bring a physical form to one's emotions. He'd met creatures who could speak through emotion, others whose emotion defined what they appeared and acted like but the power to purely form an emotion was something he would've loved to witness. Knowing that Huilu was doing something somewhat similar for therapeutic value was also nice to hear and piqued his curiosity on what the statues had looked like. For him, art was always a means to take his thought into the physical world. It was for simple enjoyment, though he did enjoy sketching new designs, but more so a necessity for his work.

It was only recently that he sometimes drew thing for the sheer freedom of it and not to set it aside for some grander purpose. His muses were usually the world around him still but now he did it for the memory of drawing and not the immortalization of a scene or area as his scientific and curious mind usually pushed for.

"That sounds like a neat way to release stress and overall feelings. It isn't strange that an artist turns to art to help ease the issues of the average day..... Anyway, If it is helping you at all then I am glad you've found it. And I'm also glad I didn't interrupt you mid-release. Being interrupted when focused can be irksome for some I understand. If you ever feel the need to kick me out just know I will hold no ill will."

He chuckled a bit before sipping his water to a short pause.

"Actually, how about you come over to my place for an evening? I can make you dinner while Tema and Suni pester you to pet them unendingly." The two cats had a draw to Huilu that Irso chalked up to either his master's interpretation of his notes when he gave them a soul or the enticing pull Huiliu had played in the creation of the two small felines..animal..things. He didn't have a word for them since they weren't normal cats in the slightest.

As expected Irso was understanding, and Huilu predicted he was rather fascinated as well. It was easy to see from his reaction. But if he would ever request to see any of the more personal works Huilu created she might have to turn him down, those statues were very personal for her and although Huilu cared for Irso very much she still wasn't ready to show him such an intimate side of herself.
"For me art has always been merely the way to bring forth my inner thoughts and feelings in a form that is free and can be experienced in multiple way by different individuals. I only began showing by art to general public when I came to the island. In a way it was a tool for me to discover sides of myself I did not know even existed."
Huilu explained, and was clearly excited to explain the way she created art. The expression on her face was surely familiar for Irso, Huilu always got that same expression when they discussed art or creation, it was a face of Huilu truly being alive and enjoying herself.

"I would truly love that, unfortunately tonight I must stay home, but I will find time to come and pet Tema and Suni."
Huilu chuckled as well, and thought about the two feline siblings living in Irso's house. She had grown surprisingly attached to them, those two were an important part of the memory when Huilu had first met Irso. A memory she would definitely always cherish.
"And for me to also receive a meal from my beloved, I feel like the luckiest woman."
Huilu added after a short pause, and she leaned her head against Irso's shoulder with a small, blissful smile on her face. She decided to remember this feeling and make it into a statue to show Irso later.

The cool sensation that Huilu gave to his shoulder was pleasant and less intense then he had braced for initially. Maybe it was because she made his body generate more heat naturally, or maybe it was just that he was running a little hot after flying here and being bundled somewhat. Despite the answer, he was just happy to be here with her and spend some time of the day with her.

He didn't exactly mean this evening, he would need to check over his house, even if it was immaculate, just to be sure it was up to standards for a guest visit. It seemed like a minor thing to pick over so he just left it alone as he had already received confirmation that she would visit eventually. Flying to Huilu wasn't such a grand ordeal that he couldn't do it every now and then to check up on her or scoop her away somewhere during his lunchtime.

No, this was just fine with him for now. Family, as strange as it had been for him personally, was something he understood deeply over the years of observation and interaction with varying familial structures. His needs would dwarf in comparison to the children, as they should, but it was his personal task to make sure that someone watched over the mental and physical health of Huilu while she fawned over the young ones.

" You won't be so lucky when I call in all the favors you owe me and have you prepare a grand feast in my honor." He rested his head on top of hers and laughed at the idea of her actually doing so. He had feasted with some of the finest and he didn't believe those times could be topped. Plus in his old age, a simple dinner was more his speed now. Feasting would have to be saved for special occasions.

"As long as you know I am here for you then I have no need of any repayment. Just watch over the children and make sure Eein continues to steady."

"If you ever do decide to call in your favours there is no doubt that you deserve such a feast after everything you have done for me, us."
Huilu admitted with a certain smile, because it was true. All the little and not so little things Irso had done for Huilu formed a large debt, that she wouldn't be able to realistically pay back. And Huilu was certain Irso didn't think of it as debt at all and Huilu didn't want to do so either. But she was planning to spend a long time returning Irso's kindness, if the man would have Huilu. And thus far he had had her, with all her flaws and emotional troubles.
The weight of Irso's head on hers made Huilu feel grounded, peaceful and happy, it was like she was supporting him much like he was supporting her. And Huilu felt most natural when she was protecting and supporting others.

"I am very much aware, and grateful, of that. I will always watch over my family and loved ones, all of them. And that includes you."
Huilu smiled gently at Irso, she was hesitant to include Irso into her family yet, not because she didn't want to. She was ready to call Irso a part of her family. But if Irso wasn't Huilu wasn't going to push anything on him. Even if Irso had lived for a very, very long time that didn't mean he couldn't have reservations about emotional commitment. Huilu was very much aware not all people could care and love as readily as she could. She was an exception in that instance.
"So you should remember that I am here for you as well."
