Rada saw him coming, of course she did. But perhaps because of the adrenaline, because of her anger and fury she let it happen. Of course it fucking hurt to have a wolf gripping her throat, but Rada showed no signs of pain as she looked up at Malakias, defiance in her eyes. She couldn't speak properly with Malakias on her throat, but Rada did raise her hand and flip the motherfucker the middle finger.

Rada wanted to laugh at Malakias' words, he really had no idea about the things their father had done to her. Rada smirked despite being in Malakias' teeth, and spoke in a choked voice, mouthing every word clearly.
"You're going to have to kill me first."
Rada wasn't afraid of death. And if Malakias killed her here now it would mean he had failed his mission, and dear daddy would never give him the head nod he so desperately wanted. But she wasn't about to stay still and find out if her dear little brother had balls after all. Rada shifted into a wolf under him, and she could see with her ability how her transformation would affect Malakias' position. Rada used that to unbalance him and roll away from his jaws. Now they were both wolves, and Rada was snarling and growling at Malakias. Her neck was bleeding on the floor, but Rada couldn't care less. She could just mop it up later.
"Come at me if you dare. I'll rip you a new one, pooch."
Rada barked in wolf, Malakias could understand it, and she lowered herself in defensive position.

Malakias jumped back when his sister changed suddenly, he had sensed the change almost before it happened. He was faster than Rada was and had that on his side, "Stop your caterwauling, bitch," he snarled as he slowly and calmly walked around her form, just out of range, she'd have to leap or jump to get at him and he was ready to take her down if she tried anything.

"And don't be so confident that you can beat me again," Malakias said mentally as he suddenly changed direction, the whole time keeping his eyes peeled on her, watching her every move. He was not going to make the mistake of attacking first. If she wanted the fight, she could come looking for it. Better to counter and bring her down, than attack when she was in a defense position.

Rada let out a bark that was equivalent to a laugh and kept snarling at Malakias, the coward was scurrying just outside her reach. Rada circled along with Malakias, making sure her back was never against a wall.
"As soon as you grow a pair, cunt."
Rada snarled right back, her fur standing on end. All her muscles were tensed and ready to pounce, though she wasn't going to attack first either. Rada might've been pissed but she wasn't stupid.

"You're free to try, I've got a silver platter waiting that's just begging to have your tail on it."
Rada growled, and changed the direction along with Malakias, glaring at him. They could keep doing this all day, Rada wasn't stupid enough to attack first and Malakias might be but Rada doubted it. Eventually someone would come for sure and see the siblings but they wouldn't interfere, not when an alpha was trying to 'discipline' the omega.
"This was your great plan? Get me to grovel by nipping my neck? How's that going for you?"

"Defiant as always," Malakias growled low in his throat, "Reckless, boastful, and with too much misplaced pride," he added as glowered at his sister. "You have this insatiable and almost dangerous need to prove you are better than everyone," he added as he narrowed his gaze at her and sneered.

"This will only cause you problems, Rada. Learn a bit of humility, you might find others react better to it than open hostility," he warned her.

Nothing touched her. Rada had spent years and years making sure her skin was so thick no attack, especially verbal one, touched her. Malakias' words bounced off of her, driven back by her anger and, as he so stated, pride. But it wasn't misplaced. Not to Rada.
She had the need to prove herself? No. She had to. Or else Rada wouldn't have been able to live the life she wanted.
She was defiant, for sure, because rules had never done shit for her. Rada knew the importance of rules. But she trusted her own judgement more than rules, and Rada chose the rules she followed. And she chose to go against the ones her father put down. It wasn't her problem Malakias wouldn't.

"I don't need to prove anything to you, and I sure as hell won't show you humility. That itch you scratched on my neck should've quenched your alpha boner, either get the fuck out or finish what you started. I'm sure your underlings will have fun mopping up our blood."
Rada growled at Malakias, she was offering him a chance to resolve this situation as peacefully as the two of them were able. Rada wasn't bleeding out, but there were small puddles of blood wherever she walked.

"Wrong sister, every time you tell me off, are defiant, deliberately provoke me you are trying to prove to me you are better than me, than others," he told her a little less angry, and more exasperated now by her. He loved Rada, but he knew she resented, even hated him, and probably would never get past blaming him for their father's treatment of her.

"So, for pride's sake, you are willing to bleed out than give a hair," Malakias growled irritated at her foolish behaviour and let out a loud bark, calling two other younger wolves, not goons, as he changed back into his human form.

"Take my sister and get her wound tended to, and clean that up there..." he ordered too as he glanced at the small pools of blood on the tiles.

Malakias had no idea what was going on in Rada's head, that much was obvious. It was almost sad how little he understood about Rada, but it couldn't be helped. The siblings had been apart for many years, and the love Rada felt towards Malakias as a sibling was strained by all that their father had done to her. But Rada wasn't stupid, she wasn't using Malakias as a replacement target. No, Rada had her own reasons for pushing Malakias.
"Keep telling yourself that all you want, it won't make it true."

Rada noted the shift in his mood, she could feel it through her empathy. This fight was over, though Rada knew it'd be one of many. And as her brother shifted back so did Rada, her neck and shoulders streaked with blood.
"I know what you think of me, Malakias. But if you really want to become a good alpha you should open your eyes."
Rada said, her voice was strained by the damage done to her throat. And just when she finished the wolves Malakias had called for arrived. Rada walked past the two without offering her brother an explanation. She wanted to get this throat patched up so she could get cooking.
