Today, Iesha wanted to to make a real effort today to get to know the other children like herself so she decided to leave the comfort of her dorm and try to get make friends! It was all so simple in her head but... she had yet to actually talk to someone as she couldn't bring herself to start a conversation. Every time she tried to approach someone, she made excuses for herself to back out of it: They seemed too old and wouldn't want to talk to a kid like her, they looked a little scary so best leave them alone, they looked a bit busy so best not bother, and other such excues. Eventually her crippling shyness got the better of her and gave up trying to talk too people for the day. Instead she settled to sunbathe in a more isolated corner of the courtyard, enjoying the welcoming warmth of the sun overhead as she layed near the base of statue. There was a perfectly suitable bench just right next to her but she preferred her thick, black, scaly body being coiled up on itself on the patch of grass in front of the statue since it was much sunny there than on the benches.

"Mhmmm... maybe I can try tomorrow..." mummer Iesha to herself as she dozed off.

She was so busy! It seemed that since the elections had started, that everything had been put on hold for this. Her sleep had been cut, her friends being pushed to the side; everything was spiralling outwards and making her head spin. Sherry had to lay down, to do something to stop herself from being tired and stressed out. After she had finished up most of her duties at the school, she had decided to go into the courtyard, a place that she enjoyed being at. If it wasn't for the student council elections, the orange haired girl would be enjoying the area quite a lot more than she was at that moment. The courtyard reminded her of the elections, which just made her even more tired. She sighed, flopping down on a bench with quite a large amount of force. This was no good, this lifestyle wouldn't keep up for very long. Oh how she just wanted Troy, or Shay.

Iesha considered sleeping on the grass when her ears caught the sound of feet near where she layed. Iesha raised her head from the ground in a slothful manner as she watched an orange hair girl sit on the bench next to her. Iesha could only stare at her... a person right here in front of her! Iesha thought about what she should say to her, then pondered if she should say anything at all. Sure orange haired girl appeared to be alll alone and was probably not busy with anything but... she looked tired, as if exhausted from doing something. Would it be rude to interrupt her moment of rest? Was she even interested in talking with her? She was laying next not too far from the bench so she must have noticed her... right? Maybe she should say something... just to make sure. Determined filled with determination, Iesha raised her torso from off the ground and inched a bit closer to the fiery haired girl so that she might be noticed by her if was not already aware of her presence already.

"Ummm... h-hello." softly spoke Iesha.

The silence that followed after her bottom touched the bench was lovely. There was no one telling her what to to, where to go. All she had to do was sit there and enjoy the rays of sunshine that gave way to her body. What an utterly beautiful feeling, really. When a small sounding voice talked to her, she turned, giving the girl a smile. "Oh hello there!" even though she wasn't in the mood to talk all that much, she was still nice.

Iesha gave Iesha felt a bit proud of herself for managing to get a word out and getting a response back, which caused her to smile a little. Progress! But now... she was completely out things to say as she had not planned out what else to aside from saying hello.

"Um... um... hello!" spoke Iesha, a bit more confident than before as she looked around in search of topics to to discuss to try to continue the conversation.

"Um... um... um..."

Then she looked to the bench the girl was sitting on, then looks back tot he girl.

"... so... um... this your favorite... favorite... um... couch?"

Iesha started to second guess herself if that was the correct word or not, maybe it was just a chair... a long chair.

Sherry only watched, perplexed as to why she was so scared. Was Sherry's appearance weird, or unnatural? Perhaps the girl was just shy... That must be it! With a short smile, she took her question into account. "Um, no? I don't really know this bench." Her hand patted it, as if to calm it. It was smooth at least, not that it really mattered to her. "Do you like that... Area that you are lying on?" It was the only thing that came to mind, and as it was, their conversation wasn't that full of life yet.

Oh... its a bench thought Iesha as she slinked her head at her shameful display of English.

"O-oh... I... b-b-bench I... I wanted to say bench... sorry... sorry... ummm... sorry that... my English is bad." quietly apologized Iesha for the undo confusion she thought she had caused.

When asked about if she liked her little area, Iesha perked her head back up and forced a smile on her face as to hide the lingering anxiety she was having. But the orange girl continued to talk to her so at least she hadn't said anything that might have offended her.

"Y-yes! The grass is... ummm... nice. Very nice!" she replied with force enthusiasm before there was nothing else left to say.

Iesha blinked several times as she watched the girl expectantly before she realized that she has yet to introduce herself. Now was the moment to introduce herself right?

"O-oh! Iesha! Err... my name is... Iesha. Thats my name. Iesha... ummm... what- err... what is your name?" asked the snake girl as she coiled her elongated body on the well-maintained grass underneigh her belly scales.

She was like some cute little puppy dog, not that Sherry liked to compare people to animals by any means. So many things made Sherry happy, there's something about this girl that sparked over type of Interest with her. She wanted to know her, and understand why she was so shy and so unsure of herself. “I mean it looks like a very comfy spot to sit!” Sherry said before swinging her legs around as best she could to be able to face the girl more head on. “I mean you can come and join me if you want, too.” Sitting on the bench or anything, so having someone else if it's size would only add to the experience. “Ohhh!” Sherry exclaimed, over excited by the fact with that the girl's name was so adorably cute. “My name is Sherry! Nice to meet you!”

"O-oh... ummm.... y-yes! Th-th-thanks yous." stuttered Iesha, who agreed to the girl's request as to not appear rude.

Iesha slithered her way to her designated sitting position next to Sherry on the bench. The snakegirl appeared to have struggled with how to best accommodate herself on the bench. Iesha eventually just settled on "sitting" on the bench as a normal person would while the rest of her tail laid sprawled out under the bench they where both sitting on. It wasn't the most comfortable position for Iesha but she didn't try to show the girl next to her as she didn't want to inconvenience her anymore than she already has.

"Oh... Serry... Shear-i... ummm... Shurri... Shurri? Shurri... thats... thats a nice name. L-lovely name..." commented Iesha rather meekly as she looked over to the girl.

"A-and thanks! Nice meet you to Shurri." spoke up the snake girl who seemed quite happy that Sherry was making conversation with her.
