Kagami perked right up when he mentioned his experiment with rock violin. How interesting! She was always open to knew sounds.

That sounds amazing! Are you in a band or something? Because is you are I could come listen to you sometime...I'm always open to hearing new things and I've never heard of rock violin before! How did you think of it...I... she stopped suddenly. She hadn't talked to people in QUITE a while apparently, she was always afraid that they would leave before she got the chance to say anything and so she tried to shove it all into a small amount of time...bad idea.

Sorry...

Mikah laughed lightly and shook his head.
Nah, it's cool. Continue talking.
He said with a grin.

I was part of a band back home and I have some discs, but I haven't really met enough people here to form one.
He said with a grin then he shrugged.
There's this one band that takes classical music and modifies it to rock sof I figured if they could do that with a song I could do that with an instrument.
He explained lightly.

Kagami shook her head as she listened it was interesting to listen to him. Though they had talked only a little bit he seemed very interesting, I person that she could get a long with. She may have found herself her first friend.

So you just found some other classical music playing, rock loving people to form a band? What was your name? Were you big wherever you came from? she couldn't help asking him all these questions...oh well he would get his chance to ask her questions...if he wanted to that is.

He laughed and nodded.
Yeah, those people were pretty wicked, quite open minded too for them to accept the idea.
He said lightly, a grin on his face. His band had been fun back in the day, until the accident.

We weren't as big as we could have gotten but once people actually went to one or gigs the voice spread and we had pretty good work. The name was Fallen Sin. My ex is to blame for the name though. She was the lead singer.
He explained.

Do you play anything?
He asked hopefully, maybe they could start a new band.

Kagami listened intently.

Why did your ex pick that name? Was she a good singer? Or rather is she a good singer? Sorry for the past tense. she said with a small chuckle. She always seemed to refer to everyone in the past tense...as if everyone had met an untimely demise.

She looked down at the floor No...not really...I dabble in the piano a little but nothing great. she didn't really like to talk about the piano because to be painfully honest she stunk at it. She did a little singing and a little dancing, she wasn't half bad at those but she never told anyone about them.

Mikah laughed good heartedly at the questions and nodded.

The band was, initially, only her and I. I called her my fallen angel and she called me her sin, as she claimed it was my fault that she became a fallen angel.
He said with a light shrug, a small laugh being heard from the memories. He could honestly say that there was no time in which he was ever sad around her, therefore all the memories were positive.

Mikah smiled sadly and nodded.
She was a great singer.
He said lightly and shook his head when she apologized.

No, you're right. Was. She was a good singer. She passed away a while ago in a car wreck. That's the reason the band broke up.
He explained, though unlike most people he seemed to not break down when he spoke about it. He had accepted it and he knew she'd probably be devastated if she ever heard of Mikah being sulkily emo about her death. She loved life and therefore he would too. It made sense.

He moved his head to a side curiously.
Now that's a performance I'd like to watch.
He teased.

Kagami smiled at him, she didn't like being sad about death. Because talking about the dead was like recalling their life which should always be a happy thing.
I'm sorry to hear that. But I'd bet that she'd be happy that you're not being depressed about her death.

Kagami blushed, her piano REALLY stunk, she didn't know why she ever told anyone about it. Maybe someday she would take more lessons and get better at it, but you never know.
Trust me, you DO NOT want to hear my piano. I was always the worst student and I stopped taking lessons so I haven't gotten any better. But if you ever do get a band together let me know, I'd love to come watch.

Mikah chuckled.
She'd shoot me if I were, and believe me she'd find a way to.
He said with a smirk. Sometimes he acted as if she were still alive, after all he had spent most of his life around her, it was only logical that such habits had formed.

He smiled at her.
Why don't you take lessons from me. I could teach you one or two things and I'm sure you're not as bad as you claim to be.
He offered.

He grinned.
I'll be sure to call you if I get enough people to form a band that are interested in that genre. I can't say it wouldn't be interesting though.
He said with a grin.

Kagami smile was big this time.
You really think you could teach me? That would be wonderful! Then maybe I can help you will this band you want to start.
She always like learning new things, and helping people so this was like a dream come true. She wondered if he knew how good of a friend he was being to her right now.
Of course, once you've heard me play, I won't hold it against you if you withdraw your offer to teach me. she said with a chuckle but she was completely serious.

See, and I'd probably need a keyboardist. Perfect arrangement.
He said with a grin and a playful wink. He loved music, it was a passion he had always had and which his parents had never understood. If Kagami wanted to learn he was more than ready to try and teach her. He smiled at her.

Nonesense. You'll be fine and you'll be an expert by the time you realize you have actually been learning something.
He said excitedly. He liked teaching music and he loved the fact that it seemed he had just made a new friend.
