Kagami stood on the edge of the cliff her hair was untied and dancing in the wind. She looked down on the gaping hole in the earth. The ground was far away, so far everything blurred. She should be worried about getting dizzy and falling in but she was too captivated by the work of nature that she was viewing. Large amounts of plants and roots grew out in the cavern, it shouldn't impress her so but it did. Those plants had been delt a cruel fate having to try so hard to live in such a barren and desolete environment but they did it. She didn't know how, and she didn't care she was just amazed by the strength that those small shrubs showed.

Slowly she was getting dizzier, she really should move away from the edge of the cliff and yet she didn't. Oh well, she could always change into a bird if she fell, that is assuming that she didn't pass out...

Too much of a beautiful sight to fall to.
The voice of a male was heard behind her as he hadn't made a sound while arriving, melding into shadows was faster and not as disturbing to nature. He smiled softly at the girl, an almost saddened look as he scratched the back of his neck and took a step closer to her.

If you jump I hope you know I'm going to have to follow you down to help you up.
He said in a joking tone, yet his expression showed he was actually speaking seriously.

Kagami snapped out of it whipping around not too gracefully to see who was talking to her, not such a good idea. She nearly fell over but managed to throw herself forward and landed on the ground rather hardly. And proving that she was right to tie her hair back, it had wrapped itself around her face making her look like a total ditz. She sat up on the ground and untangled her hair, still not bothering to tie it back.

She looked up for the first time seeing a boy.

Well, hello. she said with a blush at embarassing herself in front of him. She always had issues with boys but now embarassing herself...it was bad.

Umm...thanks... she said referring to him talking about helping her But, I wasn't going to jump...I'm Kagami...what's your name?

"Are you ok?"
He seemed concerned, not really mattering how much of a ditz she looked like. He happened to prefer ditzy friends rather than stuck up graceful ones.

"I'm sorry I ddn't mean to startle you."
He spoke honestly, nearing her and offering her his hand to help her up. He wasn't one to really pay mind into said things.

"Well it's good that you were'nt going to jump, sorry for assuming otherwise. You never know at Starlight."
He explained. "I'm Michael. Mikah. He corrected himself.

Kagami nodded, Yes, I'm okay, thanks for asking. she took his hand and the help to stand up. Her knee hurt a little bit but it wasn't a big deal, she would live.

Not a big deal, I normally don't startle easily, I guess I was just spacing out. she said with a small laugh and moved away from the cliff not want to chance falling over again. What had come over her? Oh well, she'd have to probe her subconcious later for an answer to that one for now...well it was always good to make new friends. She let out a small chuckle when he said something about not knowing when it came to Starlight. Wasn't that the truth!

So Mikah, what are you doing out here on the cliff? And alone for that matter. Tsk tsk. she couldn't help laughing at that, she sounded like such a hypocrite, out here by herself AND almost falling to her death. Wonderful first impression.

Well that's good.
He pointed out while helping her up. At least his hand hadn't been rejected.

You should be careful then, cliffs aren't a good place to space out.
He teased. He seemed to be relaxing as he spoke to her, now that he realized she really wasn't suicidal. He smirked and tilted his head to a side.

I, young miss, was going to come and sketch. But I'm a guy so people tend to not care if I'm alone or not. Why are you out here so alone?
He shot back, an amused look on his face.

Kagami shrugged and sat down where she was standing.
Because there's no one to come up here with. I'm what some would call a loner. she said with a sigh but quickly changed the subject.
So you're an artist? What do you sketch? Scenery? Animals? She was generally interested. She herself wasn't good at much of anything.

He grinned.
You're not acting like much of a loner right now.
He pointed out.
I'm not complaining though, you seem like a pretty wicked person.
He amended, meaning wicked as in cool.

I sketch a bit of everything though I have a partial tendency to sketch people. I'm more of a muscician though. It's just that people don't complain when I sketch, yet they complain with music, being that "they can't conenctrate"
He explained lightly.

So what do you do here? Watch people from afar?
He asked her and winked, signalling that he was joking.

Well, you worried about me. What am I suppose to say "things for worrying but it was a waste of your time and walk off? Nah, besides it might be nice to have some friends. I dunno I never have but it might be nice to try. she blushed when he said she seemed cool and mumbled a "thanks, you seem cool yourself."

She perked up when he talked about music she LOVED music. What instrument do you play?

She shrugged again when he asked her what she did up here Think, look, observe.

You could have. It's happened before.
He nodded with a smirk, sowing that it really hadn't happened to him before but he was imagining that it could be possible.

He laughed lightly at her question. His parents had attempted to get him into art but he was just not gifted at anything but sketchy so they had put him through every music lesson they could. A thing Mikah was actually quite happy about.
Several actually, violin's the most prominant though. Try putting it into rock and it's the most amazing sound ever.
He said cheerfully.

Mikah pondered at her answered.
Good answer. I normally don't find many people here.
He commented, not really knowing why.
