"Wonderful," Celeste replied, genuinely happy that Isabella was open to taking a few cooking classes with her along with the tutoring. She honestly believed that one discipline fed into the other, and a good potion master was often a good cook.

"Have you ever had any experience cooking before now?" Celeste asked very curious about Isabella, and wanting to a little more about her.

Isabella shook her head. "No more then I did with my mother as a little girl. I never really needed to cook anything big or fancy since I lived on the DCA campus. I could just go to the cafeteria or heat up some ramen noodles."

The ramen noodle life. Some called it a struggle but she called it freedom from her at the time overbearing parents... It was a stupid thought. Isabella's mind doted on this for a second before she realized where she was. Was this a test? Was she supposed to give a specific answer?

Frantically following her last statement Isabella added: "But that's not to say I don't understand the basics of working safely in a kitchen."

"That's fine," Celeste said as she looked at Isabella and gave her a reassuring smile. "It wouldn't have been too much of a problem if you hadn't ever had any kitchen experience. It just makes it a tad easier if you know the basics," she explained.

"I have a cooking class Wednesday afternoon at three," she said as she took out her class schedule and scanned it.

"If you wanted you can stop by, get a feel for some of the basics, and then on Monday afternoon, if you are free, we can begin tutoring," Celeste suggested as she looked to Isabella for confirmation.

Isabella was elated that the Professor was open to helping and a small sigh showed her relief that she wasn't being prodded and tested for information about her cooking skills. Having a person to both discuss magic with and work with would be just the distraction she needed from all the drama creeping up in her life.

" I should be able to reach your class a little after three." She'd memorized her schedule "As for Monday afternoon any time is good for me."

Her lack of a part-time job left her schedule rather open at the moment. She'd opted for Mondays off and jampacked her Saturday with classes because nobody likes Monday right?

"Do I need to have anything prepared for your tutoring session or do I just bring myself?"

"That sounds great," Celeste smiled as she got up out of her seat and went over to her filing cabinet where she opened the top drawer and pulled out a form to give to Isabella to fill out.

"Here's a questionnaire of sorts. It's just about which magics you are familiar with and what you already know about them," she explained as she gave the young woman the form to fill out.

"And no, you don't really need to bring anything to the sessions except maybe a notebook, a pad of paper or some kind of device to write down and keep a record of your notes," Celeste informed Isabella.

" Simple enough then," said Isabella as she dug in her bag for a pencil. The questionnaire seemed pretty straight forward and thanks to DCA she was educated enough in magic to feel confident in her responses to every question. DCA had prepped her for this future and after 12 quick years, she was finally moving forward in her life.

"How many students are in your tutoring sessions?" she would ask finishing up the questionnaire " I've been hoping to make some connections with other mages on SA and was wondering if anybody was running a group of some sort."

With a tap of her pencil, she leaned to return the paper.

"At the moment there are four, no five, other mages in my tutoring classes," Celeste told Isabella as she named the students off, mentioning Shiro Yoshida, and her son, Azure among her the group.

"Not all of them are in the same classes at the same time of course," Celeste explained.

That's not too many students Isabella thought to herself as she took mental notes of the names listed off. Her mother always stressed how important it was to network while in school. Whether it be with faculty or students she had expressed the benefits of having people she could turn to in a situation. The Professor here was just the first on a list of potential connections.

" Good, I've always preferred smaller classes anyways. It allows the teacher to focus more on my needs."

"A little attention my way would also be nice" the voice poked at her again.

Isabella's eyebrows twitched before she spoke again " Well then, I can't wait till our first session Professor. Practicing magic has always helped me clear my head and I could surely use some peace right now.

Isabella would collect herself a bit before standing, and of course, finishing up that cookie..
