Vladimir was quite happy for the sudden influx of patients that the unfreezing of Dark Crystal Academy had caused. Not just because he was a workaholic and genuinely liked helping others, but it helped him deal with his own sudden wave of forgotten memories that the unfreezing had unburied.

"If you are still feeling anxious and can't sleep, try a warm cup of catmint before bed, and if that doesn't work. Take a half pill twenty minutes before bed," he told the twenty-some years old shifter as he wrote them a prescription for a light sleeping aid. The shifter had just found out his older sister had been a student at DCA and was having anxiety attacks and nightmares. Both very normal responses to what was happening Vlad had assured the young man.

"And don't hesitate to give the office a call if you feel worse or if after a week or so you are still feeling poorly," he said as he accompanied the young man back to the waiting room where his next patient, Milo Bennet was waiting.

Milo had arrived early, carefully filled out his intake forms, and was seated rather awkwardly in the waiting room. It wasn't so much that he was nervous about what the doctor would find. Even in an office with furniture to accommodate him he still felt awkward. It was probably the general notion of such a big ferocious looking creature just waiting and doing normal things.

Fortunately it seemed like Dr. Wolfstein was punctual, so his wait wasn't too long. He stood up as the other patient exited, and approached the older man. He reminded him a little of his family doctor in terms of his demeanor.

"Um, hello sir," he said, extending a large clawed hand to shake.

"Milo Bennet? I'm Dr. Wolfstein," Vladimir said in a welcoming tone as he grasped the young werewolf's hand paying no heed to the clawed hand as he shook it.

"Come right this way," he said as he took Milo's file from the nurse and ushered him into his examination room/office.

"Just have a seat wherever you like," Vladimir said amicably as he gestured to an empty chair which was large enough to comfortably accommodate his werewolf form or the exam table as he opened Milo's file and took a moment to scan it over before continuing.

He nodded and took a seat in the chair. He relaxed a bit more, it wasn't often he just found sometrhing that would accommodate his size. The doctor was already looking at his charts He wasn't sure if he should say something or wait to ask a question. All of his eyes were looking around at various points of interest in the room as he waited for Vladimir to finish looking ovver his charts.

After another second or two, Vladimir finished reading Milo's file and placed it to one side. He then focused his full attention on his new patient curious to know what exactly the problem might be, and how he might help.

"So, what can I do for you today?" Vladimir asked Milo, never assuming what a patient's problem may or may not be.

"Well, I'm here today because I need to know why I'm like this," Milo answered. He sort of knew what anyone, even a non professional would probably say at first glance. "I mean the whole I'm like this all the time except on full moons. What's more, werewolves don't have a ton of eyes like this. A friend of mine told me if anyone might be able to help me with that, it would be you."

Milo opted to leave out the part that the friend was Kon. Not that he had anything against him, but more because he wanted to keep this meeting focused on the issues at hand.

Vladimir was actually a little bit surprised by Milo's admission though he hid it well. He had assumed the young wereshifter had deliberately shown up in his were-form because he either a) wanted to, or b) was most comfortable in that form.

"Have you always been unable to shift to your human form?" Vladimir asked, wanting to make sure he understood Milo's problem fully. "Or is this a recent problem?" he added as he looked at Milo, taking in the extra eyes on his body as a thoughtful look crossed his face.

"I've been like this for over four years. If I could be a reasonable level of human, trust me I would," he thought of anything that might help the doctor further. Probably just a general detailed explanation of how he came to be in this monstrous form.

"When I was thirteen I was kidnapped by a wendigo who kept me as a personal snack for..." he paused for a moment thinking. "Too long. Either way, I guess at that point when I was on death's door someone killed it, and I woke up like this. Hid out in the woods for a while. On the full moon I thought I was gonna end up changing into something worse... instead I was human for a day. And that's been the cycle ever since."

Vladimir nodded in quiet understanding. He could now guess what might have happened, at least in part. The eyes were still somewhat of a mystery, he had to admit.

"It's not very common, but if you were turned on a full moon, or shortly before or after, the process can be reversed. Nobody really knows why it happens. I have only seen two or three cases over the years," he said, sympathizing with Milo's plight.
