“You seem to be an honest man. It makes you fun to pick on.” Sasha chuckled lightly. “It’s amazing how easy it is to sway your opinions.”

“Danger? Well, I suppose, but… rather than that, it’s difficult having the freedom to make my own decisions. I don’t know what to do with it. I had little room for freedom in Russia.” He smiled slightly at the man’s next statement. “There are certainly some unusual things happening in this place. It makes me wonder if my being sent here was an elaborate ruse – anonymous letters to intelligence workers are always suspicious, after all.”

<div align=center>Eh, what he said was true. He shrugged, and actually managed to chuckle a bit. He was an easily persuaded man, that was for sure. But he was used to flexibility in things not going his way, which was his main reason for being so.
"I s'pose. But hey, I ain't stupid either. I know when an' when not ta be gullible." It worked in his favor, usually. At least he wasn't dead yet.

"I would imagine." He replied to his statement about his home country. Not only had he heard things about the statement of the country itself, but the man seemed... Troubled, in an odd way. Perhaps it was due to how he was raised. Poor guy. With his second statement, Leeroy shrugged a bit.
"It just might be. I ain't one ta believe in fate, so ya probably do have a bigger reason ta be here..." But there was still some ambiguity to his statement. As information came in Leeroy had pieced together just who this guy was... He still didn't know his name, but he knew more about him as time passed.
"Are ya a spy or sumthin?" He asked in a slightly lower voice.
"Not that it's any of ma business. I've heard more innerestin stories on how people got here."

“Well, now. Hopefully that works out for you.”

“…A bigger reason, hmm.” He didn’t doubt there was something like that, but he hadn’t decided whether or not it was a good thing.

“No, I’m not a spy.” Sasha didn’t bother lowering his voice. There was nobody around to hear them – he’d made sure of that before he took this path. “I may, however, have been a terrorist. I’m not sure. Nobody ever told me, and I never questioned it.”

“I believe I was about fourteen when I was taken… which means I was working for about twenty years before I left. I’m not yet certain if it was the right decision, but I suppose I’m rather glad I came here.”

“And where are you from?”

((you better have been talking about my post since yours was actually longer than it aha))

<div align=center>"Thanks." Leeroy grunted smally, his mind off to other places. His suspicions were however proven false with asking if he was a spy. It was an educated guess in his opinion, and obviously if wasn't too far from severity in his position. A terrorist, huh? Well, in a sense, he was a bit of a danger himself. But a terrorist? Not quite...

"Why would they 'cuse ya of that?" He wondered, curious as to whether or not it had something to do with his ability. But at a certain point, he figured you could only blame people with abilities so much with irresponsible actions. He certainly felt that way about himself and a lot of his actions. Still, he was to be watched. No matter what, he seemed a bit off... But eh, he just had to get used to it. "Ah, well as long as the ends justified that and than I S'pose that's good then..." He too had a rocky road here, but he couldn't try to even compare himself to the man. After all, he could never tell what's someone's been through. "Been here since I was thirteen... Guess cuz I been on the run since..." And that was only the beginning of his backstory.

"As for where I'm from, it's Oklahoma, USA." He responded in a reminiscing tone. A small sigh escaped him. "It's been years since I've been there. I'm surprised I still got ma accent." He added with a chuckle. "I sure as hell miss it... What bout chu? Ya feel the same way?"</div>

“Nobody accused me of that. I decided I might have been a terrorist the first time I murdered someone with my own hands. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to distance yourself from the blame when somebody else holds the trigger.”

“Hmm… I don’t know. I spent too much time there. It’s a difficult lifestyle to get out of.” Hence why he’d made so few friends since coming here, and why he still kept surveillance all around the island. “In any case, I suppose we both involuntarily left home at around the same ages.”

“Olkahoma?” It took him a moment to remember the name. He hadn’t paid that much attention to the US in the past. “I see. Personally… I don’t know. The food here is different. And the stars, and the common language… it’ll take some getting used to, for sure. I must admit it’d be nice to speak with someone in Russian for a change.”

<div align=center>Oh. Well, he wasn't a terrorist because of his ability. He directly killed a man with a manmade weapon. Leeroy knew there was something up with him, and now he knew exactly what. However Leeroy didn't want to totally ditch this guy, for 1) he didn't want him to be suspicious and 2) there was probably more to this story than just the surface. But he didn't want to exactly bother him about it if he wasn't willing. "Oh..." Was all he said, as he couldn't figure out how else to respond to that tidbit of information. "I guess... I mean, that wouldn't make ya a terrorist necessarily, if it truly was a situation that called for it..." He mused a bit, still pondering the morality of the statement. Personally Leeroy wouldn't bring harm to anybody unless it was absolutely, entirely necessary. But anything else... Yeah, that was kind of bad.

"Yeah, seems like we did... I dunno, mainly it was cuz I accidentally figg'red out that I could 'splode. I got too stressed one day babysittin' ma baby sister and..." He paused for a moment, and looked down. "You can figg'r out tha rest, I reckon..." As the stranger told him about himself, he thought that he should drop a hint as well. Even if it was sort of personal and he usually didn't share it, not even to his own students. "Don't tell anybody that, though."

To lighten the conversation up a little, he tried to smile a bit. "Eh, you'll get used ta it. They try to piece t'gether a whole buncha different nations' culture sometimes. After all, I don't think this territory belongs ta anyone... Although he could be wrong. He shrugged. "I'm sure there's someone here that speaks Russian. There's all sorts of people here. It won't be long till ya can find someone that does." He reassured with a neutral tone, hoping he could find someone that did. </div>

“It wasn’t really.” Sasha spoke lightly. It had been so long ago, and he had had so many years to consider this. “One action doesn’t normally make a terrorist, though. It was the context in which that man was killed that made me consider the possibility.”

He listened quietly to what Leeroy had to say. It was an unfortunate incident, to be sure… “I won’t. I don’t usually go around spilling other people’s secrets.”

“All territory belongs to someone.” He snorted at the thought of free land. No such thing, even in those few places without human settlement – those places belonged to the animals. “Maybe you’re right, though. I suppose I could use… someone with which I have something in common.” It was an awkward statement, but he couldn’t think of a better way to express what he wanted.

<div align=center>"I... S'pose you're right..." He mumbled, unable to know what to do with this startling information. He really was a threat, wasn't he? Well no matter. He didn't seem the kind of guy to perform that same action twice, or pull it on any of the citizens here. There were witnesses around, wasn't there? Leeroy did a discreet check to make sure at least one person dotted the horizon. Good.

At least the guy could be trusted...
Probably. He cracked a small smile with the regards of his secrets' safe keeping and replied with a simple "Thanks.". People didn't need to know the incident revolving around his sister's accidental murder, that was for sure. However when he mentioned that land belonged to someone he shrugged. He supposed it was true... To an extent. But he meant that perhaps the island was independently run instead of being a colony to another. But eh, maybe he was being existential.

"I'm still lookin' fer sumun who meets those requirements too." He said with a sigh in regards to meeting someone with similar interests. Not just as a friend, but perhaps a relationship. When was the last time he had one of those? "Jist give it time." He stated simply. Yes, but how much...?

"So are things settlin' for you? It takes a little while ta get used ta here, butchu already look like you're pretty good with everything so far."</div>

“It seems like it would be easier for you. You know how to talk to people without appearing vaguely threatening.” He let out an irritated sigh, then mused to himself. “I do have one, I suppose. One friend. I will take that for now.”

“Hmm… well. They’ve settled a little. I’ve been spending my time looking for people with interesting auras – I feel as if there would be quite a few at the school, somehow. Hence why I’m here.”

“And you’re the only one I technically know that’s related to the school, hence why I waited for you here. …Sorry.” He managed to look somewhat sheepish at that.

<div align=center>Upon his first statement, Leeroy frowned slightly. He supposed he was right, but honestly he was surprised that he in fact knew there was something slightly unsettling about him. He thought that it came naturally and that the man lived without regretting a fragment of his personality but he had just proven the opposite. He was lonely, in a sense. Well, Leeroy himself isn’t a master of social contact, though he had gotten much better over the years here. Maybe that’s what the stranger needed. To allow himself to be near people, and hopefully pick up what’s right and what’s sort of not okay to say in public. Perhaps over time that would happen
.
"Well, maybe you’ll learn how ta after gettin more friends. One’s not a bad start.". He smiled a bit. "When I first came here I wasn’t tha biggest socialite either. Creepy kid that could ‘splode plus bein sheltered for most of ma young life plus guilt made me for an uh… Innerestin’ kid." Leeroy got back to thinking about his own childhood. Jesus, when he first got here all he’d do was sit in the corner of every classroom and occasionally tremble with bad memories and temperature spikes that caused eventually diffused explosions. He recalled talking to himself too, and kids just generally avoiding him for awhile… Not fun times indeed.

He forced his mind away from himself to give proper respect for the other man. At least life seemed to be getting better. Perhaps that was a step in the right direction for him personally. "Auras?" He asked, familiar with the term but not the denotation. "Why wouldja be lookin for those? Even bettah, what’s that even mean?" He questioned, before grumbling a "”ts no trouble. Glad ta help.”.</div>
