Enelya climbed the mountain. Along the way, she had met a wolf, who she talked to softly. The wolf was kind, gentle, and his name was Napolean. Archimedes stayed on top of Enelya's head, to make sure he didn't become Napolean's dinner. The stars were out, and the chilly breeze tried desparately to get into Enelya's winter coat. Her jeans, topped with a baby blue skirt flowed, and a blue and white striped scarf accompanied her neck. She smiled, as she talked to the two animals, talking of Napolean's children, and mate.

As they reached a ledge on the mountain, they slowed, and ended up laying down in a sparse patch of grass, with a couple shrubs here and there. The stars dotted the sky, and the trio pointed out shapes, and figures of the constilations, telling the stories that were in them, or just making them up. Enelya sighed, and closed her eyes, and hummed a small tune, then started to sing softly.

"Lullaby baby blues
time to kick off your walking shoes
and hug the pillow on your bed
and lay down your sleepy head

Hush now no need to talk
hear the ticking of the clock
stars that twinkle, stars that shine
dream and you'll have wings to fly

Goodnight baby blues
close your eyes baby blues
the moonlit sky watches over you
so close your eyes, baby blues
"

Ember sighed and sat back on a rock. The day was a cold one so she was wearing her denim jacket that reached her knees and a pair of jeans with a white turtleneck sweater. Her long black hair was loose so it was flapping from here to there because of the wind. Ember was at a point where she didn't mind her hair all up in her face.

She laid back and stared up at the sky, the evening colors slowly fading to dark nightly colors, the stars were now more visible. Slowly, she began making out astrological figures and signs, mostly out of pure boredom. She could feel herself slowly drifting off into a light sleep, when she heard something. It was low at first, but she could still hear it. It was someone singing what seemed to be a lullaby.

Ember sat up and looked around to find the girl singing. A few feet away there was a girl singing on a small patch of grass. There was something familiar about her but she couldn't tell what. Then she noticed something on the girl's head. It was a lizard and then it struck her! Archimedes! Which meant the girl was Enelya. Ember waited for her to finish singing before asking: "Enelya? Archimedes?"

Napoleon's ears flicked long before Ember made herself known to Enelya - though she ignored it. Enelya smiled, and waved to Ember. She whispered to Napoleon that she was okay, and he lay back beside her, sharing their warmth. "Hello Ember, how are you sweetie? What are you doing out here on such a cold night?" Then, it hit her. Ember had the power of fire. Enelya chuckled somberly, and nodded. "Oh, right." She corrected herself. Archimedes scurried over to the other side of Enelya, being as skiddish as ever, and Enelya shook her head, reasurring him it was only Ember.

As Ember walked closer to Enelya, she noticed a wolf sitting beside her. For a mere second, she stopped in her tracks, wondering if the wolf was going to eat her or something, but then Enelya told him it was okay."Hi Enelya. I'm good, how are you?" She realized that Enelya had almost forgotten about her pyroness but corrected herslef. "I was just sort of...enjoying the you, i guess. you?" Ember looked over and saw Archimedes scurry over to the opposite shoulder of Enelya, to hide from her so to speak. "Hi, Archimedes," She said with a kind smile.

Enelya closed her eyes, and opened them again, staring into the sky. She patted Napoleon on the head, and winked at Archimedes. "I came out here to think. I always feel much better when I'm away from the school, and in Nature... I hate being in those buildings... They are so constricting." Archimedes then raised an eyebrow, curious to what Ember was telling him after he heard her name. "She said hello, silly." Archie blushed, and waved at Ember. Enelya patted the ground beside her and asked Ember, "Would you like to join us? This here is Napoleon, I met him on my way up here. He was a little lonely."

Ember listened to Enelya and followed her gaze up to the sky. "Yea, the school can get a little constricting..." Ember said with a sigh, stuffing her hands in her pockets. "I can out here for a little solitude also; to think about everything." She looked over at Archimedes who'd finally chosen to wave a hello. A small smile grew on her face and she waved back.
Ember nodded in acceptance and took a seat beside Enelya. She glanced at Napoleon and smiled. She had the urge to pet him, but she wasn't sure if he would like it or not."Thanks. Hi, Napoleon."

Enelya wasn't sure, but she thought something might be wrong with Ember. She placed a hand gently on her back, and squeezed her shoulder. "Is everything alright? You look a little off tonight." She didn't mean it in a bad way, just something in her presense seemed different. And the trees didn't have to tell her that.

Napoleon sensed it too, and Archimedes would have, if he wasn't so introverted. Enelya looked up at the stars, and smiled. "Don't you just love the stars...How they just hang up there, and are admired all the time? It's like a giant piece of artwork!"

Ember wasn't expecting Enelya to put her hand of her back and squeeze her shoulder, asking her if everything was alright. It got her thinking: Was she okay? Sure, she felt a little down in the dumps and lifeless for some reason, but she didn't have an answer; it was unknown even to her.I don't know..." She sighed with a shrug. That was the only answer she could give.

She gazed up at the stars above her and smiled. They were in fact very beautiful and a piece of work. "They're amazing. All hey do is stay up in the black sky and get admired..." Ember trailed off i though, wondering what it would be like to be a star and lay back while the world admired you.

Enelya laughed, and titled her head confused. "Well, that was a convincing statement. Need to talk about something?" Enelya put her hand lovingly on Napoleon's head, and he nuzzled her leg. Archiemedes frowned, and ran into Enelya's lap, also wanting affection. Enelya laughed, and patted him on the head as well.

Ember noticed her confused tilt and did the same. She wasn't sure is Enelya was referring to her I don't know... response or that of the stars. Then again, she was sort or out of it that night, so she wasn't clear on much. "...What?" Ember rubbed her temples to try and help herself think more clearly.

She looked over as Enelya patted Napoleon's head and smiled and gave a small chuckle when Archimedes scurried down for some equal affection.
