Regarding clothing, Luke likes to wear a lot of dark colors. Usually dark blues, greys, greens, reds and of course, black. His everyday outfit consists of a black t-shirt, a pair of forest camouflage cargo pants, and a pair of comfortable, black combat boots. However, Luke changed when he reached his teens. Gone was the quiet boy who'd avoid people when he got the chance. Nowadays, he actively seeks people out to become friends with them no matter who or what they might be. He's a very stubborn individual that's too curious for his own good. If someone tells him something is forbidden (for good reason) but won't tell him why it is, he'll figure out a way to get the information.
Another thing to know is that he's very headstrong. If someone challenges him to a fight, Luke will happily accept even if the opponent manages to outclass him in every way. He also tends to run head first into danger. A very good way to get under Luke's skin is to either threaten his family or actively harm them. This is a sure fire to set him off and throw him into a blind rage. Other than that, he's a kind and compassionate person who wants the best for his friends and family. He's also prone to having perverted thoughts invade his mind and is completely unashamed about it.

Shapeshifting - Luke has the ability to change his body's physical appearance at will. He can change his hair color, eye color and even sex. The only problem is that he doesn't have the hang of turning into a girl. He can't control it well enough and as a result, he turns into his female form at random periods of time.

Enhanced Strength - Luke's body is enhanced to the point where he's three times stronger than an Olympic level athlete. He can lift up to 5 tons with ease, and throw cars or other similarly heavy objects up to 145 feet away. When it comes to combat, Mark is capable of breaking an ordinary person's bones if he doesn't hold back. He can send them flying into the air if he isn't careful. Another thing he can do is use his strength to jump up an 5 story building.
Enhanced Speed - Luke's enhancements enable him to move at speeds beyond that of a normal human. He can run up to 60 mph and catch up to most vehicles. He is also capable of running 15 miles in 40 minutes. Despite being incredibly fast, true speedsters will outclass him.
Enhanced Agility - His agility allows him to perform any number of advanced acrobatic movements and gymnastic stunts. He can balance himself on any object and achieve a state of perfect equilibrium.
Enhanced Reflexes - Luke's reflexes are superior to that of a normal human. His coordination and dexterity is near flawless. His reflexes enable him to dodge point blank gun fire and he can react faster to any signs of danger.
Enhanced Durability - Luke's bones and muscles are much harder and denser than an average human due to his enhancements. While he is not bulletproof, Luke can endure extreme blunt force trauma such as being struck by a heavy duty hammer. He can take several hits from beings like the Incredible Hulk before going down.

His older sister were twins called Helen and Elain Marshall. Both sisters graduated from Seattle University and made it big in the music industry as singers. With the sisters and his parents both busy, he had to become pretty independent early on. He went to an ordinary school when he was 13 years old.
After getting involved with some bullies and getting his ass handed to him, Luke ended up taking mixed martial arts lessons. Other than that, his life was pretty much mundane for the next few years. When his father took the time, he would train Luke on how to use firearms. So that's his routine went. Wake up, exercise, eat breakfast, go to school, hand to hand and firearms practice, do homework and go to sleep. He wasn't prepared for the weirdness that would occur the next day.
It was a rather bizarre coincidence that the morning Luke's powers awoke happened to be on his 15th birthday. When he woke up, Luke believed everything was normal. Instead, he had a rude awakening when he went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. Instead of a perfectly average looking boy with blue hair; it was a beautiful girl with blue hair and eyes. The girl had a figure nice enough to make his sisters jealous. When Luke lifted his hand up, the girl in the mirror did so too. At this point, he realized that the girl was him and he was topless.
This freaked him out enough to the point that he accidently snapped a chunk of the sink off. This freaked him out even more. He somehow managed to destroy the doorknob to his room when getting in. When Luke settled back on the bed, he tried thinking about anything other than his situation in order to calm down. After doing so, he started calming down and felt himself changing back. He dressed up in his casual clothing and started the day. He was lucky that it was the weekend.
The next couple of months passed without incident. There were cases where Luke turned into a girl in the school, but he was able to do so in secluded locations. Sometimes he would call in sick and would do everything at home. Whenever he's alone, Luke would explore the limits of his powers. He set up a sort of hideout in a building that was abandoned mid construction and started the "training". 3 years had passed since that morning. During those three years, he would try his hand at street level crime fighting. This usually involved beating up robbers, gang members and other unsavory individuals. Thanks to his shapeshifting ability, Luke could hide his identity.
Eventually, he became a sort of urban legend in the criminal underground. They even gave him a name too. This also meant he was dicovered by agents from a place called Starlight Academy. Luke thought they were government agents that were going to take him to some top secret government base where he would be experimented on. Instead, it turned out that they came from a school on some island he never heard of before where they had people just like him. Pretty neat huh?

While Luke comes from a moderately wealthy family, he doesn't actively take advantage of it. He does have his own smartphone and a state of the art gaming laptop though. When on the island, he lives in the school dorm and even though he has an allowance from his parents, Luke holds a part time job.
