Wynne tried to concentrate on what she was supposed to be doing. It was a slow day. "Let's see... Added a little of this... Ah.. There we go," she thought as she added the ingredients to her beaker. The teacher walked by, giving her a thumbs up as he passed.

BOOM! She heard a huge explosion behind her. She turned around to see the classes worst student covered in ashes. She rolled her eyes. "Why do some kids not even try to pay attention?" she thought. Everybody gathered around the beaker to see what had happened. Wynne watched from afar.

She turned to her worksheet and filled out the answers. Everybody was still crowded around the explosion site so she decided to get out her book. Soon, she was lost in its world.

Dean walked up to the door of the science room. Being a typical new kid, he had lost his way and wound up on teh complete other side of the school. no where near the scince lab. He opened the door and found everyone crowded around someone covered in ashes.

One of the dumber ones.. He thought to himself. He looked around and saw a table with a girl sitting alone pulling out a book. He walked up to her and asked, "Is this seat taken?"

As she got out her book, she heard a voice. Startled, Wynne looked up. She saw a boy with an expectant face, like he was waiting for an answer. She closed her book and replyed.

"Huh? What? Oh. No, it's not," she said sheepishly as she brushed her hair out of her face. She didn't expect anyone to talk to her. She moved her bag from the seat next to her so the boy could sit down. "Hi, I'm Wynne," she said, extending her hand.

Dean smiled, he had a feeling that the girl wasn't expecting someone to talk to her. He waited until she removed her bag from the chair beside her and extended a hand, introducing herself as Wynne. He shook her hand and took a seat, laying his book bag on top of the table.

Turning to her he said, "Hey, I'm Dean." He nodded over to the table behind them where there still students surrounding the area where the whole commotion was. "Something blew up?"

"Something blew up?" he asked.

"Yes. Somebody must not have been paying attention. Added the wrong chemicals, you know?" Wynne answered. She fiddled wtih her hair. She was new and didn't have many friends yet. Dean looked over to the crowd.

Wynne thought to herself: Why do people have to be so dumb sometimes? That kid will take up the whole class just because he couldn't pay attention, we won't learn anything. Looking over at the crowd she rolled her eyes.

Turning back to Dean she asked, "Are you new here? Because you got here aweful late. I am new as well by the way."

(Mind if I join?)

Diligo had already memorized his schedule, so he knew for certain that he was in the right place as he opened the door to his new Science Class. And yet, he was shocked at what he found.

Always living near a laboratory, Diligo had expected something high tech, with that somewhat obnoxious hum of computers and a strong scent of hand sanitizer. However, as he walked in, he found it to be not much unlike a regular classroom, with some sort of explosion taking place in the back.

Diligo walked in, no longer knowing what to expect, and, unable to find a teacher, walked to the closest desks that weren't covered in ash.

"Hello, I'm completely new here. Is their anything I'm required to do?" Diligo asked the two closest students. "Name's Diligo, by the way."

"Yes. Somebody must not have been paying attention. Added the wrong chemicals, you know?"

Dean nodded with a slight chuckle, "Yeah, I know. There's always someone who isn't paying attention." He rolled his eyes at the kid who was covered in ashes. Probably also the class clown He thought.

His attention returned to Wynne as she asked him if he was new, which he was, and apparently, so was she. "Yeah, I am." He said with a smile. "I ended up getting a little lost.

The door had opened and a guy walked up to him and Wynne, asking if there was anything required to do. Only recently arriving himself, Dean had no clue, but greeted him. "Hi, I'm Dean."

Reige was very late for her next class. As she walked in she looked around for somewhere to sit. Near the back of the room was a kid dusting of what looked like ashes. She walked over to the nearest desk. sitting there was two boys and a girl. "Hi"she said.

This is great, another new kid. she thought.

"Name's Diligo, by the way."

Jerked from her thoughts she looked up. "Oh hi! I am Wynne. "Gosh, everybody is coming in late." She chuckled. Speaking of which, a girl was coming in the door.

"Hi." the girl said.

"Hello, my name is Wynne." She was getting tired of introducing herself now. "What is your name? There was a bit of an explosion over there. Avoid at all costs. We won't be learning much today."
Wynne was in a good mood. She was meeting lots of new people and possibly future friends. She brushed her hair out of her face and looked around.

The teacher, irritated at the explosion and its cause, walked over to the front of the room. "That is our teacher, in case you didn't know. His name is Mr. Ravolovinch. Some kids call him Mr. R." she said. Mr. R clapped his hands for his students attention. It took about a minute for everybody to stop paying attention to the mess and to the front of the room.

"Class, I suggest we all go back to the classroom. You," he said, pointing to the ash covered student, "will stay in the lab. Everyone, read a book or something. Talk quietly if you wish to talk. Let's go!"
Wynne bundled her books and bags in her arms and walked into the classroom. She set her stuff down at a large table and sat down, hoping everyone would follow.

Dean had given a small laugh at Wynne's comment, but she was telling the truth. There were quite a lot of people coming in late. All new kids.
A third girl had appeared by them, giving them a smiple hello. "Hi, I'm Dean." He didn't have to mention anything about the ash covered student for Wynne had already taken care of that.

The teacher, who Wynne intorduced as Mr. Ravo-something, Dean couldn't remember his name. She was right, Wynne, there was gonna be no class today really, Mr. R just told everyone to talk quitely or read a book.

Dean watched as Wynne gathered all of her books and her bag and moved to a table in the classroom. He quickly pulled his bag with all his things inside and folloed her. He liked her, and took a seat, yet again, beside her. "Well, I guess you were right," He said with a smile. "Looks like we won't be having class today."
