Malara just planted small, delicate kisses all over Pandora's face, tangling her fingers in the woman's hair as she spoke. Malara understood exactly what she meant. She loved Jafar, but it felt so different from the way she loved Pandora. "I'm not angry with you. For any of it. But after the Masquerade, you left again. Didn't even say goodbye. I thought you and Raheal had left, eloped together and I'd never get to fully tell you how you make me feel. I'm just glad you're back."
She felt her heartbeat slowing. She was calming down; her tears were all but dried up. "I won't ask you to choose between me and Raheal. I won't be that selfish."
Malara offered a smile, crooked and with bloodstained teeth, to Pandora. She was inches from the spider's face, noses practically touching. She gave a small peck of a kiss. Not the kind the pair usually shared, full of passion and lust, but one of sweet sincerity. "You can have me as long as you want me."
Malara pressed her forehead against Pandora's. She felt happy and light, her body going limp against the demoness. She would have just stayed there forever if she could. "You're MY dumb spider. And I wouldn't have it any other way."
