Grye casually watched the waves crash amongst each other. Floating around on his rocky recliner, he took the time to enjoy the smaller things in life.

"Why can't more days be like this?" He said to himself.

As the breeze blew over him, he closed his eyes and relaxed for what felt like the first time in days. The only thing that would make this any better was someone to talk to, but beggers can't be choosers.

Having been walking by the guy, Kyako heard his words and stopped, slowly turning to him. She tilted her head to the side before smiling.

"Because then you wouldn't appriciate it as much when days like this happen," she answered softly before giving an amused look.

Grey had no idea where the voice had come from. He sat up and looked around, finally noticing the girl standing there.

"Heh, I guess your right about that one. I'm Grey. And you are?" He said in his casual friendly tone.

He turned his rocky chair to face her. He hadn't even noticed she was there, but when putting a little thought into it, he never really paid that much attention. Either way, the day just got a little better.

"Kyako." She nodded greeting and took the liberty of sitting down in the sand next to him.

Grye lowered his chair, and as it touched the ground, it seemed to meld right in and vanish as if the earth was dispersing as the chair decended. Within seconds he was sittin in the sand with Kyako.

"Thats a nice name," He began during the sand melding action, "so,if you don't mind me asking, what brings you around here today?"

In the back of his mind, he hoped that his outward personality wouldn't scare this girl away. She didn't seem very verbal. But in Grey's experience, it's normally the quiet ones who are the most interesting.

"Thats a nice name,"

Kyako nodded. "Thanks." She smiled slightly and lifted some sand off the ground, letting it fall through her fingers.

"so,if you don't mind me asking, what brings you around here today?"

With her mouth quirked to the side, she joked, "Oh, but I do mind." She shrugged a minute later. "It was a nice day out so I decided to take advantage of it."

"Oh, but I do mind. It was a nice day out so I decided to take advantage of it."

Grey grinned a little at the small humor. At least she knew how to joke around.

"It really is quite nice out. I wish days like this came around a bit more often, but not so often so as one would get sick of them." He said leaning back and looking at the sky.

Indeed the weather was awesome, but that would eventually change, and more than likely, grey would still be outside enjoying it.

"So, hows your stay here been going?" He questioned trying to remain ever so friendly. For some reason, he wasn't as sarcastic as he normally was.
