Shay considered what he said next. "You've got a point, but I'm thirteen and still debating if I want to rule the island or not. I'm sure I'll have the contacts by the time -- shit, by this year, probably."
Shay, despite her maturity, still felt a flash of immature glee at the idea of receiving a gift. She couldn't help but glance around as though she might see the present. She wondered what it could have been if he'd brought it to work? Or maybe it was in his car? On that thought...
"Um, it's not like in a car or anything? 'Cause my dads wouldn't approve of me following a guy to his car."

Aedan chuckled and pulled a box that was a little over a foot long, "I have it right here, was making a few last adjustments." He twirled it in his fingers and shoved it back into his pocket.
"I don't have a car anyways, got a motorcycle," he shoved the box back into his pocket, "don't worry, I'm sure you'll like it." It had taken him forever to make it. "Being a nerdy tech head has its uses."

Shay watched as Aedan pulled a small box from his pocket, trying to imagine all the things it could have been. Then he put it away? Was he giving it to her later? Was it inappropriate for the station? Now her curiosity was running amok.
"Can I open it now?" she tried not to sound impatient, but she was still thirteen, and he made it seem so mysterious and cool. Maybe she would have followed him to his imaginary car if he'd asked -- but then again, maybe not.
"Motorcycles are cool. I'll probably get one when I'm older. I don't know if Vito would approve or not, honestly."

"Sorry, non guards can't carry this sort of thing in the station," he smiled with her now aware of tge gift he could probably keep her out of trouble a bit easier.
"It took me a while to get it working, but it's ready now," he'd have to eventually show her how to clean it. Machines were good as long as you took care of them.
"Motorcycles aren't dangerous if you know how to ride them," he chuckled, "when your old enough I can teach you if you want."

Shay deflated a little and peeked around the corner again. When she returned to her previous position, her cheeks were a hint redder than before. "Christ, he's hard to follow around. Stupid ferret."
Shay ran a hand down her face, hoping to usher away her mental weariness. Growing up sucked. "Actually, it would be pretty cool to ride a motorcycle, I'm thinking of getting one when I'm older, but who knows. So, yeah, I'd be up for learning."

Aedan couldn't help but chuckle at her frustration, " he's the sneaky kind huh?" He'd only spoken to the guy in passing so he wouldn't really know, "don't worry you'll catch him." He could tell Shay wouldn't give up, some saw thick headiness as a bad thing, but if directed right it'll mean a person will always reach there goals.
He smiled as she explained her desire to get a motorcycle whe shes older, "well when your done here I could give you a ride home if you want." He pulled out his keys and tossed them to her, "and if you I'll give you a quick lesson driving one."

"Oh yeah, real sneaky bastard," Shay said with a small, appreciative smile that hinted at the affection her words didn't show. When Aedan tossed the keys in her direction, she scrambled to catch them, managing to do so just barely and watched him wide-eyed.
"That would be awesome! I'm totally up for it," she peeked around the corner once more and made a face before grinning at Aedan conspiratorially. "I should probably cease my stalker activities for today; he's going to be angry with me enough already."

He smiled at her excitement, "it's not nearly as difficult as some think, as long as you have good balance it should be fine." He would be there the entire time anyways, not like he was going to set her loose on it alone on it.
He chuckled at her, "keep at it, I won't say anything." He snapped his fingers and Abe activated, the small robot rose and hovered just above Aedan's shoulder, "you'll get him. Smart and sneaky, eventually he won't ever see you coming."
He smiled, "so you ready to head out?"

Shay's smile was a hint twitchy. She figured he must have been trying to distract her from trouble. She was a trouble maker. A stalking one, now.
The girl stood up and peeked once more around the corner, frowning. Riding a motorcycle might be cool. It would, but she wondered if her mind would let her relax enough to enjoy it. Or was she going to be stuck thinking and wishing and longing, like a foolish little girl?
She mentally shrugged, deciding it didn't much matter.
