Shay had been creeping around the station for the past hour. Granted, she'd gotten in to see Addy and had stayed there with her sister for a good fifteen minutes. But, Addy was distracted with acting and her co-workers. That's when Eroshay slipped away in search of something.
There were times when Shay would duck suddenly behind something or peel around a wall. One such time, she wasn't paying attention to her back as she peeked around the corner.

Aedan walked through the halls, Cecil didn't need him at the moment so he was just patrolling the halls, more out of boredom than anything else. He rounded a corner his nose doing the usual twitch as he picked up a scent, it was the odd combination of death and flowers he recognized as Shay.
He followed the scent for a bit and found her creeping around. He cocked his head, he didn't the girl all that well, but she seemed nice enough, albeit a bit snarky.
He scratched the back of his head, uncertain what to do, "you looking for Addy?"

Shay jumped as she heard a voice behind her. She spun around and eyed Aedan warily. Last time she'd been caught alone in these halls had been... well, it had been eventful. She swallowed and steeled her gaze as she met his eyes.
"No. I know where Addy is." She paused a beat, debating if she wanted to tell him why it was she was sneaking around. Instead, she said, "I can't get in trouble for just walking around the station." Shay wasn't actually sure about that, but it seemed good to throw out there anyway.

He chuckled and adjusted his sunglasses, "don't worry I'm not angry, just curious is all." She was a good kid, but he had a feeling that she liked to cause a bit of mischief.
"I'm a bit bored at the moment, Cecil's doing something private, so I was just wandering." He took a sip of his soda, guarding a superstar who's fans were all demi-gods and werewolves wasn't as interesting as you'd think it would be.
"So what are you up to? Or are you just wandering like me?" He wasn't sure if he was comfortable letting wander around by herself.

Shay wasn't so much worried about Aedan's personal anger as she was about getting in trouble, but she supposed those things could be one in the same.
"I'm searching for someone... kind of..." She looked from side to side, shifting uncomfortably. "You know Tobias York? He's one of the good makeup artists here. He works a lot on Cecil. Anyway, I was kinda hoping I might see him." Her face darkened. "I didn't wanna talk to him."

Aedan raised an eyebrow, he wasn't sure why someone would want to see someone but not talk to them. "I've met him, seems like an all right guy." He didn't know the guy well, they just happened to work for the same guy.
He offered her his extra soda, being social wasn't his strong suit and he found sharing a meal or drink with the person helped him talk. "It's none of my bisiness but why do you want to see him, but not talk to him?"
He took a sip of his own soda, "I'm not sure he's in today."

Shay gave him a dubious look when he mentioned Toby was a good guy. "If you think he's a good guy, then we're probably not talking about the same guy."
She took the soda to be polite, though Vito didn't like Shay drinking sugary things. She didn't open it, but she used it as a method of distraction when Aedan asked her why she wanted to see but not speak to Toby.
"He's... kind of my friend, I guess. He's just -- he wouldn't wanna see me, is all. We're in a weird place."

Aedan shrugged, "blonde hair, always smokes a cigarette? Seems all right to me." He didn't know him well, in truth he didn't know anyone here very well. Cecil seemed all right he'd even loaned him monet to get his motorcycle.
He realized giving her that soda was probably awkward as hell. But it helped him be more comfortable talking to her.
He nodded as she explained her and Toby's odd relationship, it all honesty it made no sense to him, Aedan understood machines better than people. He knew a hundred different ways to fight, but not to talk. "So your just hoping to catch a glimpse of him without him noticing you?"

"Yeah, that's him." Shay reached up and twirled a strand of hair with her finger. "He doesn't like security detail and he's usually rude to, well, almost everyone."
She looked down at the soda in her hands and laughed a little. "Dad doesn't like me drinking soda. Anyway, yeah, I mean, I guess. Toby'll probably know I was looking for him, but I don't imagine he'll say anything about it."
Shay leaned against the wall and slid down it so she could sit, toying with the top of the soda can. "I don't think he likes me much."
