Tomomi was looking for innocent, unknowing victims to prank.
She was sneaking in the bushes along the walkway in the park and tried not to be distracted by the unsuspecting birds that were sitting right above her. So close, yet so far.
Tomomi had her shifter tags on and they felt heavy on her wrist. Usually she would take them right off and ditch them somewhere but her professors were watching her like a hawk and had warned that if they even ONCE met Tomomi without her tags she'd have a hell to pay. If cats could sigh Tomomi let out that kind of sound and scared off a bird nesttled ebove her.
Tomomi stepped out of the bushes for a while and immediately some kid tried to grab her. Couldn't the brat see she was wearing tags?! Tomomi jumped out of the way and ran away. But the kid was fast and chased her until she was able to climb to a tree. Then they gave up and returned to their parents. Jeesh, Junchi was loads better.
Tomomi hopped out of the tree but noticed too late there was someone sitting under it. Tomomi was on a straight course to land straight on their lap. Well, I guess this could be considered a prank. Kinda.

Eli hadn't expected much to happen today. He was under a tree, playing on his phone when a cat landed in his lap. "Hey!" He called out, surprised.

His phone fell to the ground, and both hands went to pick up the cat in front of him. "Well, that happened." Eli laughed, smiling at the cat. It wasn't every day something like this occurred. "How nice of you to drop in." He joked, thinking this was just a regular cat, and not a shifter until he noticed the tag on the paw. "Oh, I'm so sorry."

Putting the Shifter down, he continued to apologize. "Sorry, I thought you were a normal Cat."

Tomomi had expected annoyance, maybe even anger, but the guy she had fallen on top of was actually pretty chill. Tomomi purred as the guy picked her up and then set her right back down when he saw her tags. Tomomi didn't turn back right away, she just sat there for a minute taking a look at the dude. He smelled nice and seemed so too. Tomomi turned back and grinned. She was wearing a white tank top and black yoga pants with blue and green polka dots. She kinda regretted the outfit.
"Nah, dude, I don't mind pets now and then. I am a cat, after all. I'm Tomomi, who're you?"

Internally, he was screaming. It was a girl and a teenage one at that! However, he was kind of relieved that she wasn't insulted, "Uh, I'm Eli. Nice to meet you?"

He had to place her close to his age, maybe a year younger. She was well-developed and seemed to have no problem with the outfit. Maybe she needed it to shift without concern? It bugged him a little, but thanks to his acclimatizing to the island, he decided to refrain from asking her about it.

There was a question he did want answering, though. "Why were you up in the tree?"

"Nice to meet ya Eli!"
Tomomi grinned and gave Eli's shoulder a light pat. But Tomomi noticed the guy had turned a bit tense since Tomomi had changed back. Maybe he liked cats better than people.
Eli asked Tomomi why she had been in the tree and she sighed and shook her head.
"Ya see, Eli, I was walkin' in the bushes, ya see, lookin' for people to prank. I do that, I prank people. But then when I stepped out lf the bushes this crazy brat squels and runs after me! Can ya believe that? Kids these days, I swear. Anyway, I ran up into that tree so the kid would leave me alone that that it did, thankfully. And now here I am!"
Tomomi spread her arms wide and gestured to the surroundings.
"Now, tell me Eli... What are ya doin' here?"

She petted Eli. How the tables had turned. "So, why didn't you just prank the Br- uh, the Kid?" Tomomi seemed quite childish, though it mightjust be that she was younger than him. Maybe she was what some people referred to as a 'Hufflepuff'? Regardless, She seemed an interesting person.

"Well, I'm uh, just playing on my phone." He replied, calm for a moment until he realised his phone had been dropped, and he checked to make sure he hadn't broken the screen. He didn't have to budget for a repair.

Now that Eli said it Tomomi could've pranked the kid. Sure, the parent would've been angry but it would've been worth it.
"Oh man, why didn' I think of that? The brat was ignoring my tag an' all, it could've been perfect!"
Tomomi looked at Eli with a suffering face.
"I am a shame to all prankers everywhere!"
Tomomi does a dramatic sigh and hand gesture and starts laughing a bit.
As Eli mentions his phone Tomo scans the close area for it too and sees that it's okay. Good, because Tomo was broke and would not be able to pay for a phone.
"Good that it's alive. Anyway, Eli, look hard at these people here."
Tomomi gestures to people walking along the road.
"Which one do ya think would be the easiest to prank?"

Yes, very childish. "I'm sure you aren't a shame. You were being chased, after all."

Hearing the dramatic sigh, he frowned. Was she actually calling herself a Shame to all prankers, or was she just being dramatic? Maybe even a mix of the two options? He wasn't sure how to react, given that information.

He wiped the phone off with his jacket, glancing at the people nearby. "Are you taking requests or is this just my opinion."

For a -hopefully harmless- prank, The woman sitting on a bench a far distance reading a book seemed like a good option, if anything.

Tomomi could see Eli's confusion but it was all right. Tomomi felt like no matter how people reacted to you you should just stay true to yourself. And right now Tomo was in a pranking mood.
"Why can't I take yer opinion and requests? I got a feelin' ya could have pranking potential in ya."
Tomo nudged Eli lightly and grinned.
Tomomi scanned the area and saw the same woman as Eli, and she just begged to be pranked being all clueless like that. She had a tree branch above her and everything.
Tomo stood up, cracked her nuckles and glanced at Eli.
"Watch the expert. An' no worries, I ain't gon' hurt her."
Tomo turned into a cat and sneaked across the road and to the tree where the woman with reading. She climbed up, holding in her mouth a bigger than average black beetle, alive of course.
Tomo slowly sneaked above the woman, trying not to shake off any leaves, and dropped the bug. Then she covered her ears as the woman screamed and jumped up.

"Pranking potential?" It wasn't something he really thought of. Why pull pranks on other people? He wasn't some sort of Trickster. Was he?

He observed Tomomi as she made her way up the tree above the woman. Hopefully, she doesn't fall out again. Eli Thought as she dropped the beetle. Thankfully the victim was a Normie or at least had no Combat or perception abilities. She screamed rather loudly though, causing him to wince, and got the attention of practically every other person nearby.

"I have to admit, That would seem exhilarating for some people." He remarked, speaking rather loudly to be heard from Tomomi's distance. "Do you choose targets on their predicted reactions or just their behavior?"
