"It does, doesn't it?" Zora said as she finished off her cake. "I am really excited to try their products," she confessed as she took a sip of her now lukewarm tea and sat back in the seat, unconsciously mimicking Stefan's body language.

"So, any ideas what you'd like to do tonight?" she asked him curiously.

Stefan thought for a moment. He had spent more time in the city now and knew a little bit more about what it had to offer. Nothing seemed to be really jumping out at him. Then he had an idea.

"How about this. Dinner at my place. I'm cooking. Then we snuggle up to a movie? I actually have furniture now!"

Stefan had been slowly acquiring items to furnish his apartment, and it was almost complete. Decor wise it was a little barren but he had all the couches, tables, shelves, and other furniture you would expect to find.

"You can cook?" Zora asked Stefan, genuinely, but pleasantly surprised by this. She loved the idea of him being able to cook.

While she did enjoy going out to eat with Stefan or ordering take out for them to enjoy in. She really liked the idea of being able to stay in and not having to worry about getting something to eat.

"And, yes, I'd absolutely love to go over to your place, watch you cook, and then snuggle up together on the couch to watch a movie," she admitted, very happy with Stefan's suggestions.

"Will there be popcorn too?" she asked with a smile.

"I'm no culinary artist but it won't kill you either."

Stefan chuckled a little. His cooking was decent. He had a few ideas of what he could whip up for the two of them. Her suggestion of popcorn was a perfect fit for it all.

"I can grab some popcorn for sure, but you're picking the movie."

His voice was its normal playful tone. Stefan was glad that she liked the idea. It would be a nice relaxed evening with the woman of his dreams. A bit of a break from the constant going out for food.

"Great," she smiled when Stefan said they'd pick some up. "I love popcorn... especially covered with lots of butter and salt."

Sitting forward in her seat, Zora started slowly getting ready to leave. "Now that you mention it... There are a few movies that I've been wanting to see," Zoraida admitted as she eyed Stefan warmly as a few movie titles that she had been wanting to see immediately came to mind.

"Do you happen to like thrillers or crime stories, murder mysteries?" Zora asked as she nodded towards a passing waitress so that she could pay for their meal.

"Or are you more the romantic love story type?"

Stefan looked over to Zora with a sarcastic look that said, 'Are you kidding me?' His voice matched the same feeling when he spoke.

"You know who my mom is. I was raised on love stories....my whole life....I'd prefer thrillers."

It was true. Almost every story his mom had told him growing up had been about love and beauty. It got taxing at times. But he loved it all the same.

Stefan mimicked her as he began gathering his stuff to get ready to leave.

"I'll make sure to get the special popcorn salt."

Zora raised an eyebrow at the sarcasm in her boyfriend's voice.

"What? Aren't sappy love stories with unrealistic storylines and irritating characters, who are probably single because they are so annoying, not your thing?" she asked Stefan wryly as she paid the waitress, leaving her a few bills on the table as a tip.

Stefan chuckled a little bit at her jest. He rolled his eyes and shook his head before sighing. That was exactly what he didn't like about love stories in movies.

"Well the ones mom told involved a bit more death, blood, and dismemberment than Lifetime has."

Seeing her pay the waitress he leaned over slightly and kissed her cheek gently. His lopsided grin plastered on his face.

"Thanks for lunch big boss lady."

"Your mother's love stories sound like they should be classified under "epic battles" with an 18+ rating and a sex and violence warning slapped on them for good measure," Zora laughed as they left the diner together, smiling when he thanked her.

Once they were outside, Zora slipped her arm through Stefan's. "Lead the way handsome boyfriend of mine. I am now in your control," she informed him as she gazed up at him with a playful grin.

"Did you need to get anything or go anywhere, before you take me to your humble adobe?" she asked, now quite curious to see what he had done with his apartment.

A laugh came out at the statement about how his mother's stories should be rated. It was pretty on the nose. Stefan had always loved his mother's stories growing up. It was a wonder he didn't end up a little off from them

"It was a lot of, lady falls in love with man. Man goes off to war. Man dies a terrible death. Lady goes after lover's killer for revenge."

She hooked his arm, and Stefan used it to pull her in closer to him as they left the diner. He did indeed need to make a stop before they went back to his apartment.

"Yea I do need to stop. Need to pick up a few things for dinner. Plus the popcorn."
