Dean stood there, wearing only his jeans which were still drenched and weren't going to get any dryer, enjoying the hot sun. A smile grew on his face with the mix of his damp cold self and the small breeze, made him shiver slightly but he didn't mind. He had looked down and saw Shasta laying down on the floor enjoying the heat. He gave a small chuckle and peered down below at the calm water, that was soon going to be disrupted.
When Shasta had finally caught up to him and told him that seeing a man shirtless was against her religion, he just stood there looking at her. He crossed his arms and cocked his left eyebrow curiously. When he didn't answer and she waited for his answer, her facial expression dead serious, he asked. "What exact;y is your religion?"

Shasta stood there a moment staring at him for a while trying to remain straight faced but she couldn't do it. After a moment she broke down and started laughing.
Okay! You caught me! she said and laughed so hard that she lost her footing. She fell off her back facing the water. She leaned her chin in to her chest and took a deep breath. She connected with the water and stayed a moment. That hadn't felt so great on her kneck. Oh well.
She surfaced again and smiled.
No THAT was awsome! she said with a thumbs up.

Dean stood there with a straight face just like Shasta, but when he saw her crack, he couldn't help but break into a fit of laughter as well. Shasta, unlike himself, lost control of her footing and fell off the branch. Dean tried to grab hold of her hand, but it slipped though his grasp and she hit the ground with a huge splash. Dean waited to see if she surfaced, and she did, claiming it was awesome. He rolled his eyes and went i for a big jump, but unfortunately, slipped. This of course was not on purpose, but he slipped right off the edge of the branch and came falling down. He didn't realize what hit him, until he splashed into the lake, hitting his head on a rock at the bottom.
Fortunately he was still conscious and surfaced, gasping for breath. He put his hand on the side of his forehead and looked down seeing some blood running down his fingers.

Shasta laughed when she saw him fall but then heard a crack and got worried. Thankfully he resurfaced, but she also saw the blood running down his forehead. Her eyes jumped from grey to orange. Her color of worry.
She swam over to him and grabbed his arm.
Come on, out of the water! We've got to get you out of the water and take a look at that! she said and started swimming back to the shore pulling him along with her.

Dean's head was throbbing. He was pressing his hand against his wound to some how clot the bleeding. It was working...sort of. His head gave a slight tilt when he notcied Shasta's eyes change from grey to orange.
She grabbed his arm and began to pull him towards dry land. He didn't fight it or anything, because he knew she ahd a point. He let himself get dragged by Shasta out of the water. "I'm fine," He said, his tone being a little more than a groan.

Shasta looked down at his forehead, her dripping hair behind her ear.
She sighed.
This is one of those times when I was I had healing powers...
She sat back up on her knees.
You are obviously NOT fine. Come on. We're going to the nurse!

Dean couldn't help but give a small chuckle. He always wished he had healing powers. But nay, he didn't.
He had the urge to repeat himself with 'I swear, I'm fine.' But he could tell that Shasta would ignore his protest.
He wiped is hand down his pants, to take off all the blood dripping form his fingers. His forehead was stinging how, and he pressed his palm against the wound again.
With a sigh, he said, "...Fine, let's go."

Shasta grabbed his arm and pulled him up.
She put her arm around his waist to keep him steady and walked him down the edge of the lake.
I'm sorry, if I hadn't made you laugh you wouldn't have fallen off...
She felt terrible, this was all her fault! She shouldn't have played that joke on him! It was no fair and she regretted it sorely.

Dean hoisted himself up, with the help of Shasta and put his arm around her shoulder to keep himself a little more steady. He did the same , putting her arm around his waist. His other hand was still pressed against his wound.
Dean sighed and shook his head.
"No, don't be sorry. The joke was funny, which was why I laughed.." Dean smiled.
"I just slipped, it's not big deal. Some things happen for a reason, right?"
He could tell that she felt a little bit guilty, but he didn't want her too. Sure, if she hadn't played that joke on him it would have never happened, but part of him, was actually glad that he fell; odd as that sounded.
