Celebrated on the third weekend of May, this is an island-only holiday celebrating the blooming of the lilacs which line many city streets. The Lilac Music Festival is primarily a large street festival, featuring a parade, food vendors, and a large musical event.

The main concert will be held on the 18th. If you have a character you'd like to canonically perform during the festival, please sign up here, noting who and what kind of music they'll be playing.

Violeta will be singing a beautiful solo piece, with a very clear warning about potential (positive) emotional effects from the song. It should not be dangerous but those particularly susceptible or opposed to such things should skip that performance.

Not content to just perform with Mystique, Madeline will be playing a couple songs of her own.

What stands out is "Greener" - a pop-punk song about not being bothered by someone else who is probably just mad and jealous. It has an upbeat tone even when the lyrics have a lot of venom in them, and it's weirdly catchy.

Mystique except for Lynn will be performing a big band electroswing type of song with vocals and dancing included. Members are able to get a chance to have their own solo with their instrument or voice. The upbeat song encourages the crowd to participate in the fun with dancing.

Morgan will be performing a long form technical/progressive metal guitar solo that he composed, following a larger country performance put on by his cousin's band. It's fairly complex and difficult to perform, and as such is something he's extremely nervous about.
