Carmin looked somewhat unimpressed at the name suggestions. The teasing was enough to once again cause the flower boy to give in. "Fine, fine, just use..." He looked around to get an idea but nothing really cam to him. It was the wind's fault he was in this mess though, so he decided he might as well just use that.

"Whatever, just use breezy then, I don't really care." He was blushing again, figuring out a name was surprisingly embarrassing considering the fact that he wasn't supposed to care.

"E.Z Breezy," Fe said with a nod as she easily accepted his pseudonym.

"And now, for the most important part," she said as she pulled a leather wallet out of a pocket of her faux fur jacket. "How much do you want for the poem?" she asked Breezy curiously.

“Oh, right.” He’d kinda forgotten about the whole money side of it. It was almost like he was doing this because he wanted to. Almost.

As for how much he was going to ask for, Carmin didn’t have a clue. “Umm, I’m not sure, how much do you think would be fair?”

"Well, how does $100 sound to you?" Fe suggested as she opened her wallet, offering him an amount that was slightly less than what a professional songwriter might charge for a song that was ready to be put to music.

Carmin blinked a few times, kinda unsure if he heard that right. “One hundred? Are you serious? Er-“ Carmin cut himself off, then tried that reaction again as if the first one never happened. “I uh, I suppose that’s enough...” Even if she did somehow completely miss his initial reaction, his poker face wasn’t exactly all that good.

Fe smiled knowingly when Carmin tried to hide his surprise at her offer. She knew he never thought his poems would be worth what she was offering - which only proved to her that she was right about his lack of faith in his abilities.

"Still think your poems are worthless?" she stated in a more serious tone as she handed him the money in 20 dollar bills.

"And just so you know, if you ever wanna sell me anymore of those other supposedly worthless poems of yours, I'd be more than willing to take a look at them," Fe said as she handed him a business card with her name and number on it.

Carmin could hardly believe it when she handed him 100 dollars in cash right then and there. He didn’t really answer the question of whether or not he still thought they were worthless, but he gave a “Thank you.” When she handed him the money.

He looked down at the other poems as she told him she might be interested in those too. For the first time, he didn’t question why he hadn’t burned them yet. He took the card, looking at the name. “Fe. I’m Carmin. And if the first one goes well then maybe we can see about that.”

"Nice to meet you, Carmin," Fe said as she put her wallet away. "And that there is a deal. Though I warn you ... just be ready to give up the rest of your poems," she told him giving Carmin a playful wink.

"Well, I got to be going, my silver fox is waiting for me," she said referring to her boyfriend, Jericho the Fox.

"I will see you later, Carmin," Fe said. "Word of advice though, have a bit more faith in yourself. Life won't seem so glum then." And with that the Sirin took off, giving Carmin a little wave over her shoulder.

Carmin watched as she seemed to twist his words from a maybe to a yes. Though he didn’t actually bother correcting her.

When she said good bye, he did the same, giving a small wave. “Bye.” But she continued speaking, giving him the small bit of advice. He didn’t really react, but his eyes shifted to the side as he thought about that. As he saw her wave back at him, he did the same once again.

After that, Carmin shoved the poems into his backpack and decided to head home again.
