"Lifting" Weights

Mimosa walked over towards the girl. "Yeah, 'have to admit - his strength is impressive....after you know about it." She smiled in his direction. "Sorry about the weight thing, but...you were being a jerk."

She turned towards Lexie. "Name's Mimosa. Nice to meet you. "

Mimosa then went over to the bench press. She set the machine to a 70 lb setting, and lay back, lifting the bar. She could lift up, but bicep curls? Not happening.

Laden smiled at Mimosa. "No problem. Besides, I'll get you back somehow." He winked at her and watched as she started lifting. 70 pounds. Not bad for a girl.he mused.
Laden stopped pulverising the punching bag and storde over to the ab machine. He set it at some ridiculusly high amount and slid in. One..Two..Three..he counted as he curled, the muscles in his abodomen contracting hard.
"So how long have you been going to this school?" He asked Mimosa and Lexie, trying to start a conversation, but being very bad at small talk. four..five..six..

"Hey Mimosa. It's Lexie." She said Mimosa. She contined to just sit. Weight lifting wasn't her thing. She just wasn't that strong. "Oh uhhh.... I've been going here about a month" Lexie said a litttle surprised by his question. She really wasn't paying attention just watching them lift weights.

Laden grunted in acknowledgement. Seven...Eight...Nine... "Oh. I just naturally assumed you had been here a couple years." Ten...Eleven...Twelve...

Mimosa turned to Lexie. "Really? A month? That's about the time I joined too. That's crazy!"

Mimosa sat up, taking a breather. She ignored the amount Landen was lifting. "How long have you been goin here?"

Thirteen...Fourteen...Fifteen..."Actually, I just started today." he chuckled a bit. "So atomatically I came down here to check out the gym. I don't really know anything about the school at all. I have no idea where any of my classes are or anything." he looked at the two girls. "Want to help me out a bit?" He asked with raised brows.Sixteen...Seventeen...Eighteen...

"Sure" Lexie said. "But if you ask me those classes are a waste of time. They don't even do attendance to see if you came or not" she said as she hopped off the machine. She walked closer to Laden and watched him closer. "Damn your strong!" she said watching his muscles flex.

Mimosa shruigged. "Personally, I'm glad to have been accepted. My last school was way weird. Everyone thought I was a freak. Anyway, what'd you want to know?"

"That's because you're a freak" she said. "But I'm a freak too" she said as she shurged. She began to stretch.

"The world is full of freaks. But not necessarily freaks who can set a tac on the teacher's chair from 100 yards." She lay back down again, and continued lifting.
