Laughing at his friend's joke, Dosan broke out in a wide grin and took a sip of his cold beer. He was happy that Alastair had convinced him to come out tonight. It had been a crazy week. His half-sister, Yuna, had left Manta Carlos suddenly, no word, no warning at all - and all his harem mothers were now worried. They all wanted the lowdown, to know what had happened.

And so, Dosan had, quite literally, had to get himself a new phone, with a private number, that somehow, five of the harem mothers - Ade, Irina, Snowflower, Greta and Luna had managed to discover, and whom had also proceeded to text him, all pretending they didn't know the others were texting him too, trying to get some "secret" information that they swore not to tell anybody - except, of course, the 49 other women in the group. Dosan, rolled his eyes mentally at all this, it was, quite frankly exhausting, truly exhausting sometimes, he loved them all dearly, his harem moms doted on him, gave him support, but sometimes it was a bit much.

Listening to the music, Dosan relaxed, ordered another beer and chatted with Alastair about the cricket match the had watched together last weekend.

Silje looked once more from her phone to the pub she'd been recommended by a friend for its classy atmosphere. She'd dressed quite nicely for the occasion; she'd picked out a form fitting black cocktail dress with a few small gold accents to compliment her eyes, her hair done up in an elegant bun and a mild but very pleasant perfume was noticeable on her form. The heels of her shoes were also a good three inches tall, as if she needed any extra height, and she stood at a rather imperious 6'6" because of this.

The elf took a deep, relaxing breath before heading inside, peering around and smiling as she took note of the rather upscale atmosphere, at the same time hoping it wasn't quite as expensive as the decor made it out to be. Silje considered sitting at the bar for her first visit at initially, but shrugged that option off and headed towards an empty table two away from Dosan's. Her face was lit up with curiosity and mirth as she looked over the menu, humming softly to herself as she did.

"Lewis was caught out before he could be bowled by Hamilton. He didn't even get a chance to hit the wicket. It was a terrible match, they really should have won, or at the very least, tied. " Dosan told Alastair as they talked about the regional cricket match the previous evening.

"I also think trading..." here Dosan's voice trailed off as he saw a very tall and quite striking young woman enter the bar, watching her sit down at a table nearby, Dosan found himself staring for half a second too long.

"You were saying," Alastair asked Dosan as he took a sip of his beer

"Ah, yeah, trading Compston was probably the worst thing they could have done," Dosan remarked distractedly as his gaze returned to his friend, "They always, like, trade one good player or two before the playoffs," Dosan said as he found his gaze straying back to the young woman seated at a table close by.

Silje sighed contentedly and relaxed back in her seat, looking over the rather extensive menu and continuing her soft humming. Her eyes and ears were both quite perceptive, and she did eventually notice Dosan staring at her in her peripheral view after a few moments. Setting the menu down for just a moment, she decided to meet his gaze, giving a warm smile before looking back down to the menu.

Honestly, Silje had no clue what all that cricket talk meant, though she was reasonably certain it was related to sports, and therefore something she may like to learn about at some point. Even from a few tables away, the elf had been able to finely make out his facial features, and it did cross her mind that he was rather handsome. Smiling absently, she kept paging through the menu back and forth before giving a small, defeated groan, a bit overwhelmed by the choices and quite clearly not able to figure out what she wanted.

"You know?" Alastair said as he glanced sideways at what, who, had caught his friend's attention and saw it was a very pretty woman young, an elf, he noticed as he studied her. "You should go talk to her," his friend said as he took a sip of his beer.

"You think?" Dosan said slightly unsure as he looked at the girl again, this time, catching her looking at him, his way, and smiling at him.

"Yeah, definitely..." Alastair chuckled having seen her smile at his friend. "Go say Hi, I am just going to answer a few texts," he said as he waved Dosan off.

"Okay," he said as he got up from the table, taking his beer with him and walked over to where the woman was seated.

"Hi there," he said with a smile, "I, uh, noticed you when you walked in, and was wondering if I could invite you to something? Maybe a drink?" he asked the woman politely.

Silje couldn't help but smile when she heard Dosan and Alastair discussing her, and continued to look over the menu until Dosan got up and made his way over. Truthfully, she found his confidence, or at least how proactive he was being a very attractive quality. Fluttering her eyes up to him when he approached her table and looking him over more closely, she found that he was attractive to her in yet another way with his polite introduction.

"Oh my, how very gentlemanly~" Silje somewhat playfully purred this out, but gave him a genuine and gracious smile nonetheless. Looking back once more to the menu, she set it down finally and closed it, then gave him a small nod. "I think I would very much like to take you up on that offer...even if you weren't handsome and polite, I am having an awfully difficult time settling on what to order. If you wouldn't mind helping me?"

Dosan grinned when she called him gentlemanly. It was an idea his harem mothers drilled into him quite often, and they'd be proud to know that their little Dosan managed to excel at it - or at least tried to anyways.

"Handsome and polite, eh?" he stated, flashing her a wide grin at this comment, also somewhat flattered and amused by her bluntness, when she readily accepted his offer and asked him about the menu.

"I'm Dosan, by the way," he said, introducing himself, as he grabbed a chair and sat down near her so he could take a look at the menu.

"So...what things do you like?" he asked her curiously as he glanced down at the menu, knowing, more or less, what was on it already, "I come here quite often with friends, so maybe I can help recommend a dish or two?" he added, smiling warmly at her.

Silje nodded and smiled back at his positive reaction to her complimenting him, tilting her head just a little when he introduced himself. "Dosan? That's quite an interesting name~" Her Norwegian accent was quite thick, and though she didn't pronounce it quite right she tried her best. "I am Silje Aase Hjelle. Though you need only call me Silje; it is simply customary for my people to introduce ourselves by our full names."

She hummed softly when he moved to sit down, and scooted her chair just a little so she was able to properly, fully face him. Her expression turned thoughtful, almost comically so but in a decidedly cute way when he asked what it was she liked. "Ahh, well...as far as food goes, I suppose I'm craving something for comfort's sake. I prefer colder food, generally, though I can simply ask for whatever dish it is to be cooled. And, as far as drinks go...could you recommend a nice white wine?~"

"A pleasure to meet you, Silje Aase Hjelle," Dosan grinned as he held her gaze, "I'm Dosan Saitō Yoshitatsu son of Brahma," he said as he introduced himself more formally to her. "But you can call me, Dosan," he said. "My mom's Japanese, and my dad, well, he's Indian," Dosan explained with a tiny shrug.

"Cold food?" Dosan repeated thoughtfully as he glanced at Silje, and thought about the menu, He wasn't too sure there was much on the menu except some salads and the cold tomato-cucumber soup known as Gazpacho.

"There are a few salads, and a cold Spanish soup, Gazpacho, if you are into that type of thing. There is also a buffalo mozzarella antipasto dish," he added as he opened the menu and ran a finger delicately down a page until he found what he was looking for, "Ah yes, they still have a cold lobster and shrimp dish." he said as he smiled up at her, noticing just how pretty she was up close.

"Hmh... well, do you like a drier or sweeter wine?" Dosan inquired, giving her his full attention, thinking a nice Reisling or Chardonnay might suit her but one never knew, she might be a Sauvignon gris girl.

Silje gave a small, curious hum as he brought up the name Brahma, only vaguely remembering that that was the name of a god. "Brahma? I am unfamiliar, mostly...you are a demigod, then?" She was happy to get to know more about him; the two of them had barely talked but she felt comfortable in conversation so far.

His assortment of food suggestions was enough to cause Silje to quirk her brows, surprised that he was familiar enough with the place to know so much off the top of his head. Her eyes lit up at the seafood dish he mentioned last, and she nodded enthusiatically at that one. "Ah, yes! I simply adore shellfish. That sounds perfect~" She then realized it was likely a good idea to explain her preference for cold food, and she smiled before tucking some hair back behind her ear. "Ah, the reason I am less fond of warm food is that I am actually a snow elf. Having a lower body temperature means that hot food can be uncomfortable to eat." To illustrate her point, she held out her hand so that Dosan could feel it if he wanted; her body was only fifty five degrees fahrenheit, surprisingly.

Silje then found herself gently blushing at his questioning about the wine, and she smiled sheepishly before shaking her head. "Ah, well...I am actually not very experienced with wine, or alcohol in general. I simply know the few times I have had it I quite enjoyed the wine my friend had. I trust you to pick something for me, you seem knowledgeable~"
