Life is highly overrated...

Carrigan looked away. She did not like remembering how she had died, and very rarely spoke about it. She wasn't going to tell this stranger.
"I-I don't know," she lied. She always had been a bad liar, and death hadn't improved that skill. "I just, sort of, died." She thought about what he'd said about dying again, "I was going to try that, but I don't really think it would work. I think I have to finish whatever it is I need to do."

Judas chuckled.
"You just died hmmm? Must be traumatic, I suppose...What a classic ghost story! Great writing material. So you don't have to feel? Or breathe? Or eat? Splendid state of being."

Carrigan was somewhat alarmed at his reaction. Not have to eat?! "Once you don't have to eat, you begin to realise exactly how good it is." She informed him, her dull eyes and voice hollow as ever.

"Yes, yes, I suppose, but it's also a hassle, isn't it, life? A meaningless bore. Death shouldn't change too much. And I'm sure you'll get over it eventually, better to be dead than living death."
