Since his death, social conventions for Lucas had easily been something he was lacking. This had left him with a strange sort of predicament. Since coming to the island, he hadn't really connected without anyone due to his embittered nature. While the first he had seemed to do so, a fellow ghost like himself. Had left him only with her name, and the fact she was majoring in art for Lucas to try and stay in touch. Not the greatest combination of information to simply have alone. Even so seeing as Amelia, had been the first person he had been somewhat polite with in some time. Trying to find her in hopes of continuing down the path of friendship with another like him appealed to Lucas.

It was for those reasons, that Lucas gently floated through the hallways of the arts building. Having slipped from out of his previous lesson early, in hopes to beating the bell. He had not though, and the hallways and classrooms had mostly emptied out for the end of the day. A few people still lingering. Most in conversations, as they packed away. Looking around, he didn't see who he had hoped to bump into. However socially awkward as he was, Lucas couldn't bring himself to approach any of the chatting groups.

Eventually though, Lucas spotted someone who was unlike other chatting away. Seemed to be still at work. He wondered if they had simply not finished what they were meant to in the class, were taking the chance to work on any class assignments, or that a simply love of their craft had caused them to continue. Drifting closer from behind, he noticed the radiant hair they had. Wondering how exactly colour could blend tones in that way with someone hair but being behind them didn't notice much else.

Stopping a few feet behind them. Lucas cleared his throat...or at least he imitated such a sound as best as he was able seeing as he had no actual throat to clear to give the sound a real feel to. He knew how silent he could be drifting along, and didn't want to shock whoever they were. So used the sound to give away his presence before speaking. "Excuse me?" He said in polite but awkward tone of voice. While approaching someone on their own to talk to them was easier then trying to slip into one of the conversing groups. He still was quite rusty from the lack of social interaction of the last few years.

The class was boring, but many things were boring for Cerra. Though with the class being the last of the day she stayed in her spot. Painting the residual color in the room, though she despised most of the Beating Hearts around the school. All of Creation's energy like to collect on the island. So the swirling colors were much more vivid and vibrant than any other place on the planet as far as Cerra knew. It was while she was sitting and nearly half done with her painting that she heard the... well it wasn't exactally a cough, it was more the approxiamted guess as to what a throat clearing cough was.

Turning around Cerra found, a transparent color. She tilted her head for a moment before she realized it was a ghost that she was looking at. "How can I assist you, Echo of Peace Bringer?" The tone of the little vampress was flat, though she wasn't hostile in her mannerisms this Ethereal Kin was interrupting her. "I was somewhat in the middle of things."

Lucas wasn't surprised when the girl turned around and he notice her extremely pale complextion. He had seen stranger since arriving at the school. What did surprise him, was what she called him. Echo of peace bringer? He assumed that the echo part referred to his spiritual nature but he didn't understand the rest in the moment. However the confusion caused him to hesitate and stumble over his words. "Er..I...I was wondering if you knew another ghost around here called Amelia?" Lucas asked only to suddenly feel awkward about asking so directly when the girl had said he was interrupting her.

Unconsiously Lucas drifted back slightly. "Sorry for interrupting you." Lucas said apologetically forcing himself to stop drifting and touch down on to the floor. Even though he felt like he should shut up, let her awnser his question and move on before he embarressed himself further. However he was still slightly thrown by the name she called him by. Rather then simply ask her though and possibly annoy her with another question before she could awnser the first. So was willing to wait for a better chance to voice his curiosity.

The Echo of Peace Bringer asked Cerra if she had seen another Echo kindred. Cerra knowing that she had not seen this other Kin shook her head and just went back to painting. The Colors in the room had shifted but it was easy enough to finish the painting. It was going to need to dry and it was as she turned to clean off her hands of paint that she saw the Echo still standing around. "I see Echo of Peace Bringer, you stay when I bade you to drift. Therefore there must be something that interests they lost mind."

Cerra finished removing the paint from her arms and hung up a smock that the class required for work. "I must then assume that you are still here thinking that I did not fulfill thy question. I have not seen your fellow Echo, you have been the first I have seen upon these isles."

Lingering not knowing what to say, he saw that she shook her head before returning to her painting. An awkward moment of him just standing there. Only for the women to notice him again as she seemed to finish her painting. Her words did make it clear that she was calling him an echo because he was a ghost. Seeing as she refered Amelia as an echo as well. However she confirmed in words that she hadn't met any other ghosts but him. That was dissapointing.

Turning to look over his shoulder, thinking about maybe trying to ask some of the talking groups. However they as the day was over, had started to filter out off to enjoy their evenings, and his curiousty about the rest of the name she had given him got the best of him. "Thank you." He said turning back to her. "Though my name is Lucas, why exactly are you calling my Peace Bringer?" He asked using it as excuse in order to introduce himself as well.

"You are the Echo of the one Creation sang as Peace Bringer. Therefore you are Echo of Peace Bringer." Cerra could only shrug once more. "Creation sings to the Kin like me. That song can be heard and seen in different ways by the Nosral clan. Such as I, for among the Clan I am known as Color Seer."

"though I am curious, What does an Echo Kin like yourself do for fun upon this plane of existence? I haven't found much to do other then paint. And those with Beating Hearts are mostly nuisances that I prefer to not to be apart of their company." Cerra's expression as she talked was very neutral. If he did do things differently then a Beating Heart it would at least give her something to do.

Lucas hadn't really known what sort of awnser to expect to his question, but the one he got only left him more confused. In life he had been science minded man, one who didn't really by into religion or the supernatural. Something he obviously had shaken when after his death his spirit lingered on. However the idea that creation...sang of him. He didn't even know how to word a question to ask about the nature of what she called creation. While he was trying to think of how to do so, she ended up asking one of her own. It threw his train of thought, and left him struggerling to find an awnser to her instead of a question of his own.

The main reason that it left him hard to think of an awnser was there wasn't much that Lucas actually did for fun. "For the most part I just exist really." He awnsered to start but didn't want to leave the awnser on such a pessimistic note. "Apart from study and practise. Though I guess I enjoy seeing things I never got to see in life." He there wasn't much he could do being incaporeal 95% of the time. "But I suppose I wouldn't mind learning more about why I am an echo as you said."
