Lieza’s fur -on her ears and tail, as well as replacing hair in something resembling a pixie cut - looks like a regular tawny brown to human eyesight, however most of her colouring is actually brilliant reds and purples invisible to the spectrum of the human eye. The colours swirl around each other with no obvious pattern until Lieza is standing in the dark, in which case floral swirls and spirals all over her body will start glowing with an eerie green. Three long-furred tails flick about behind her, as prehensile as a cat’s. Her eyes are bold amber, with slitted pupils that expand to see in the dark.
Clothes are a bit of a foreign concept to her, however she’s learned that she can’t go outside without covering up. Typically, she does this with a sports bra and boyshorts and not much else, unless someone else is there to lay out clothes for her.

She’s always got a cheerful disposition and if she doesn’t understand something, she doesn’t try to. First, they have a pair of extremely soft fluffy ears, in a shape that resembles something of a cross between a cat’s and a dog’s ears. Lieza's ability to glow in the dark comes from digesting luminous mushrooms from her home world. Biography: The Eqalyn species was discovered just under two decades ago, by the closest neighbouring system. They were not thought to be sentient, until a group of captured Eqalyns began to communicate with the foreigners in their foreign language.
The Eqalyns were then introduced to the intergalactic market: as sex slaves and test subjects.
As intelligent as they could be, most didn’t want to spend the time learning or trying to conform to society. They were naturally instinctual and didn’t want to join the workforce, so while they were plenty intelligent enough to join the intergalactic council as an intelligent race, they ignored every chance to prove it.
Lieza was born on and started growing up on her home planet, however she was taken out as one of the study examples of her species. She learned to speak in the native language of the invading foreigners, and was one of few who attempted to show themselves as intelligent enough to not be eaten. After that, she spent fifteen years bouncing around between ‘masters’ and 'doctors’, arriving at Manta Carlos as smuggled goods on the crashed Queen Aurora II.
