Among the many buildings of Manta Carlos' beloved streets, a large albeit old-fashioned building looms. With Victorian-Era inspired architecture, it seems out of place with its surrounding modernized buildings.. And yet, at the same time, appears to be exactly where it needs to be. The large sign above the door is written in elegant calligraphy, presenting the title of the building;
Library of Magic & Magical Studies
Students walk in and out, both college and high-school, along with children and adults. It seems to be extraordinarily active for such a peculiar and odd building. As you approach the building, it seems to loom over your frame with an almost intimidating aura that radiates from its worn bricks and stark black irons. And yet, at the same time, it gives a nostalgic feeling - like you had spent time here but time long forgotten. Entering the building, you are greeted with the several desks and check out areas where the staff sit. The library is active with patrons and staff alike, some of the books moving on their own as the staff move to put them away.
Looking up, your eyes trail up to the very top of the building - to the ceiling of the fourth floor. The building seemed shorter upon the view in front, however the architecture makes it seem to go on forever. A staff member greets those who have entered with a warm smile, distracting them from the entrancing architecture.
"Welcome to the Library of Magic and Magical Studies, where we let education come to life."
It was cheesy, but judging by the glint in their eyes... Something tells you that their words would reign true.
