Let's Rock

Calix thought for a moment before raising it arm, signalling Abyss to fly and land on a nearby beam near the ceiling. He unlached the bow on his back and pulled out a few arrows.

"I was a sniper-for-hire before I came here." He notched the arrows and aimed for a split second for they went flying, landing almost half a centimeter away from one of Ignite's feet. "One of the best. I knew someone that Nyx did, although she doesn't know that. We were very close, like brothers." Calix laughed bitterly. "Until he died of course. I blamed Nyx for his death; she was there and didn't do anything to try and save him."

The archer let his arms drop to his side. "...But his last words to me were to take care of her."

Calix raised a brow as he re-slung his bow. Abyss returned to his shoulder with a slight purring sound. He patted her affectionately and recieved a nip on his ear. "You're right. Nyx doesn't know about what he told me... She doesn't even know me." He gave a slight smile. "But it doesn't matter... How did you and Datarias meet? And pray-tell why do you annoy each other so?"

"I'm not stalking her... Just keeping an eye on her. She's already been close to death here at this school... Runenii had attacked her, I wasn't here at the time. Now it seems as though a man named Richard is after her, something about her 'blood'. Nyx seems to get into trouble alot and by the sounds of it, Datarias does too. It's fitting that they are friends."

Calix stroked Abyss and the hawk continued to eye Ignite, before flying over the pyro's shoulder. "She trusts you. Good, that means I can as well."
