As Tiger walked inside the classroom, the first thing people saw was her bright hair. She flipped it over her shoulder and smiled at everyone. She sat down at a desk in the middle, the best place. You could see everyone, and they could see you. She leaned back in her chair and pulled out her favorite shiny green notebook.
Holding the notebook against the desk, she grabbed her favorite pencil out of her bag as well and began doodling. Swirls, people, characters, stars... anything she could think of. Drawing was so fun, it just let her do something.
After awhile, Tiger stopped paying attention to what she was drawing and began thinking. There's a dance coming up... she thought. I wonder if I should go with anyone. I could be independent and go by myself to prove that you don't have to have a date, but I do want to go with someone. Eh, I guess if I see someone who's nice enough, I'll ask them to go with me.
Tiger looked down at her notebook, where she'd been drawing without thinking. Ooh, the swirl she'd drawn without realizing was awesome!
