Private Finished Less Bitter

"V-visiting him? Can we just do that?" he'd ask nervously and a little bewildered. "Uh, sure, sure, if you don't think he'd mind," then the vampire realized how embarrassed and shy he was acting, so he'd clear his throat and put on a tough face. "I mean, yeah, we should go visit his mansion."

He'd turn his books, looking through them quickly. "Uh, have you read this?" he'd hand her a book titled 'Celestials Falling,' "its really good, had similar vibes, but it gets a bit darker." He'd rub the back of his head, still looking a tiny bit embarrassed.

"Its part of a trilogy, really good, the books are big though," he'd give her a small smile "About a floating island city that drifts around the world and people who live on it....," he'd grumble, probably looking unintentionally cute, "and yeah....it has romance.'

His cheeks would again blush at her teasing. "Well....they're well written," he'd say with another embarrassed grumpy grumble. "Don't see why guys can't like them too...," another grumble though this one was a little less grumpy and the corner of his mouth twitched up a little in a brief but nice smile.

"Oh uh....here...," picking up the other two he'd pass them to her as well. "You can just take my copies," he'd clear his throat, looking a little embarrassed as giving her a gift. "I've already read them a couple of times anyways and...y'know, I still owe you for buying me lunch the other day."

The vampire would rub the back of his head. "You can uh...borrow any of my books really, just y'know...tell me first," that small sweet smile briefly appeared again as they talked.

Beimg called sweet and being hugged just added to the blushing, making his cheeks turn an even brighter shade of red. "I'm not sweet," he'd say with a grumble, pulling up the collar of his shirt in an attempt to hide his blush. "Just...y'know...," he'd clear his throat, "you seem nice and we both like reading, so yeah, I'll let you have some books."

The vampire was feeling confused, he was a grumpy vampire, sorta delinquent, yet here he was, blushing. "Anyways...," he'd clear his throat, "uh..uh.....were the snacks I got you good?" Despite his grumpy attitude he did want her to he comfortable, with food she could eat.

He'd brush his hair our of his face as they spike. "So, uh, besides reading what else do you like to do?" he'd ask, curious about what she did with her free time.

"Pokemon?" he'd ask with a tiny chuckle. "Never played it, or saw the show," he'd scratch his cheek, taking a seat on his bed. "I haven't played any video games in a while," he was still getting into the sway of being normal again, being just a teenager.

"You uh..kinda sound like a dork," he'd say, though the tone of his voice indicated he was joking and teasing a little. "Though....y'know, being a dork isnt bad, dorks can be, y'know, sweet and cute," the last part he didn't really mean to say, and his cheeks would briefly blush when he realized what he said.

"Uhhhhh...anyways, hobbies, right uh. Well you know about the reading," he'd clear his throat, "I uh......draw some, not a lot, but its fun."

"It just looks kinda silly?" he'd say with snort. "But fine, when I come over I'll play with you," he tried to keep up the grumpy act, but he did sound excited by the thought of playing video games. "Bet I'll be able to beat you at it," he'd say with a tiny chuckle.

"Uh....see my drawings?" he'd clear his throat, "uh, I don't know." The vampire would look at her a moment, his small smile appearing again and nodding.

"Ok, let me grab them," steeping over to his desk he'd pull a large book from his desk. "Here," he'd hand it to her, in it she'd find numerous drawings and sketches, some of people, others of animals, they were all quite good.
