Lex smiled. "Yeah, I guess so. I've never really had much chance in my life to be near stables, but when I have been, the memories always are of the peace that's there." then she glanced at the vibrating barn, "But somehow, I don't think that this one's going to be like that." she said, still chuckling.

Then she frowned for a moment. "I have a feeling that this is going to be the place for mushy romantics. You know, the whole, 'my...date's better than your date.' thing?" she cocked her head to the side, and pondered whether or not he really did know. Now that she knew where his family was 'from' she was suddenly aware of how much stuff might not be the same for him. All that she knew was that Valentines Day was the only day she didn't get beat up. She subconciously rubbed the heavy white scar on the back of her hand. Chloe had died just a few weeks after Valentines day. But she forced the memory back into it's corner. It was in the past, nothing like that was ever going to happen again.

"I agree, probably not going to be so peaceful, but oh well, it'll be fun." He said smiled, then he let out a chuckle when Lex brought up the romantic part. He has spent thirteen years here, since he was three years old, and during that time he learned about the modern times like any other kid, he just had old fashioned parents.

"I bet everyone will be like that... one thing you gotta be happy is, that this isn't a private schools with all those stuck up brats." He said smiling. For Valentines day, they had a party or ball, or whatever, all the girls were stuck ups. Though Trephas rarely goes, but when he does its when Tear makes him go. He looked up they were very close to the barn, and he could hear the music clearly.

Lex laughed. "I wouldn't know. " she remarked with a chuckle. It wasn't a sharp or sarcastic thing, but a chuckle, and a truthful comment. Then she linked her arm around his again, "Well, shall we brave the unknown together?" she asked, a grin on her face. She didn't know what she'd been thinking earlier, but she suddenly remembered that Trephas was her best friend, and nothing more.

Then the grin shifted to mischievious, "You know, I'm gonna have to beat all of the single girls off of you with a bat." she teased, poking him in the side with her free hand, before walking through the door of the barn with him.

He smiled again. "Oh yes... To the unknown we go." He said, and continued to walk when she linked her arm with his. What she said next he laughed a bit hard. He thought it very funny, he found a lot of things funny, just like his sister. As they walked through the door he decided to say something to that.

"You do that, and I'll keep the single guys away, but I doubt I'll need a bat to do damage... At home me and my siblings were all taught to defend ourselves and others." He said smiling, as he looked around. There was a lot of people here. This will be fun, he thought.
