It had been a while since the last time the Krilbrit visited the park, and so he thought it was about time that he went. However, when he got there, he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to do. Standing out in the open, he looked around. Hiking Trails, Playgrounds (which he was much too big for), and lots of other options but he just couldn't think of what he wanted to do.

So, tucking up his knees and beginning to float, he decided he would just wander for a bit. Floating around the park, he watched all the people go by him and smiled as they looked at the strange creature. The longer he floated around, the happier he seemed to get. Walking was a hassle to him, after all.

Sadly, though, he had to put his feet back on the ground eventually. He couldn't float around forever, however, unless he wanted to deplete the amount of electricity he had stored for the day. So, eventually he put his feet back onto the ground. With a slight huff, he took a step forward and...

Tripped over his own feet. Congratulations.

Shinji was looking to take a load off of his shoulders today since he was close to finishing a few goals that he had set for himself. He was doing good at the academy and he was doing well with his powers. But he knew there was still so much to do and so much potential to unlock. The best thing he could think of doing was to go to the park and relax under the sun or something. Its not like he wanted to get a tan or anything, it was usually very peaceful in that setting.

Shinji had already set off to get to the park a while ago. He walked slowly and took his time as he went. It was also something with him that he had to stay calm at most times so his powers didn't act up or do anything that could harm him or another. Upon approaching the pr however, Shinji spotted a man on the ground. Had he fallen or...?

Shinji decided to walk over to the man and assist him. "Need some help?" Shinji said as he knelt down to the man on the ground. It was obvious that the man didn't need help but it was also something good when someone offers help regardless. It just makes everyone feel good. Shinji went to place his hand on the mans shoulder just for an extra signal showing that Shinji was there, but before he could actually make any contact, a bright, blue, spark flashed between the two body parts. What was that?

"Need some help?"

The creature looked up to the other person from the ground. He didn't really need help getting up, no, but maybe some help learning how to not be so clumsy with his feet. "Nah, I'm good," he replied, putting his hands in front of him to pick himself back up. However, when the other went to put his hand on his shoulder and a spark erupted, the Krilbrit's ears perked. The spark was almost instantly absorbed into him, the man purring as the small charge added more to his stored power.

It didn't take long for the creature to sit up in his spot, looking wide eyed at the other. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Careful there," he started, floating up from his sitting position into standing. Looking down to the person he towered over, he put on a bit of a nervous smile. "Careful with the touching. Looks like we both have Electric Capabilities. Although the spark was good for me, sparks like that can potentionally be dangerous."

Shinji didn't really mind that he denied his reach for help. What he was still thinking about was the shock that they shared. It was weird for Shinji to meet someone with abilities similar to his. This would be the first person that he met that is somewhat similar to him, power wise at least. If anything this person may even be stronger and more skilled than Shinji. That would be a surprise however. Shinji was looking forward to meeting someone like this for a while but in the end it was his shock that came out more than his overwhelming excitement that spawned from his desire to meet someone like himself.

"Absorbed?" Shinji though to himself. "Well you can absorb it but can you produce it as well?" Shinji asked out of curiosity. He knew that he himself could both absorb and produce it but he wondered if this random person could actually do the same. Either way it wouldn't matter, Shinji was just happy to be able to meet someone like him. ""One other thing actually, What do you mean that they could be dangerous if we both are pretty much resistant to it?" Shinji was confused by this since he didn't know this person. Maybe that had some issues with their own abilities that they couldn't yet control. Either way, Shinji was about to find out.

Getting up and brushing himself off, the tall man spoke. "Well, you see, if we both cause a spark it could potentially spread and hurt other people - people who are not resistant to electricity." Looking to the other with a smile and a nod, he continued. "See, alone I can produce a large enough spark to ward off enemies that are too close. If someone adds to that, it could cause a large enough spark to hurt passerbys."

Now, for the answer to his other question. "As for using electricity, yeah. I can do that. Since my species absorbs electricity, we need a way to release it right? So, my species can use it to create Defense Sparks, to Levitate, to create Static, and to charge and run electronic items. Pretty neat, huh?" The long winded explanation seemed to take nothing out of the strange creature.

Tucking his knees up, he began to float. Instinct told him to hold his hand out to shake, but his mind told him not to. "The name's Whiver, by the way."

"That is pretty neat actually. I don't think I can do that much. Floating is out of my range for abilities. I barely know what I can do now. Charging things is a little hard to since I would probably make them explode. Shinji said with an awkward smile on his face showing that he knew he was lesser than this person. Though i didn't bother him that he couldn't do as much as the other guy, he still wanted to know how to do that. It was sad that sparking one another would be harmful to others but that was an easy fix, sort of. As of now, he never needed to hold back all of his power to the point of keeping it so under wraps. But he can get used to it.

The man held out his hand while floating which sort of caught Shinji's eye. Shinji thought of how he had to dial back all of his powers before shaking hands with the man so he was reluctant to touch him for a second time. Shinji took a deep breathe and grabbed the man's hand, shaking it. He was nervous to see if they would spark again but nothing. At least this time. He quickly let go of his hand so keep away the risk of sparking again. He felt a large feeling of relief when he was able to let himself go again with his powers at their normal rate. "Do you mind explaining to me how you float, though? Its really cool and I would love to learn how to do that, if I can of course. See I can generate as much electricity as I please at any time but if I produce too much, it disintegrates my skin in large quantities. Luckily I can heal the minor skin issues." Shinji explained.

"Skin Disintegration? Yikes. That's rough," he commented, furrowing his brow. "I'm the opposite, sort of; if I don't absorb electricity, I can basically starve myself. Electricity is basically the same as Food for you guys."

Scratching his head a bit, he tried to think of how to explain his Levitation. He never really had to think about it, it was something he learned a month after birth, after all. "Uhh... well..." Hmm. "I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. It's just something that I've been able to do since I was, like, a month old."

"Eh, its not as bad as it may sound honestly." Shinji briefly stated to better clarify his own opinion of it. It wasn't painful, more numb than anything unless he started to produce way too much, then it would hurt quite a bit. The man explained next how electricity was food for him basically and he could starve. If anything was rough, that's it. It would suck to be able to use the power but you can only use so much or else you could basically die.

Shinji thought to himself for a moment now and then started to scratch his head in thought. "Well, if you ever need any electricity just let me know cause i sure have plenty of it and believe me, I'm not stingy with it. I don't have a problem with giving some to you since I can always make more, plus its not like I need it to survive like you do, however."

Regarding floating, however, it looks like Shinji was back to square one with trying to figure out how to do that. Whiver had it natural to him as if he was only moving a body part. Shinji didn't have it that easy with such an ability but then again, it would be unfair to be able to produce as much energy as you want and be able to do everything with it, right? "Thanks anyways. I'll figure it out eventually and when I do, I'll tell you so if the rare occasion should ever come up when you need to explain it, you'll be able to. My name is Shinji, by the way." Shinji said in reply to Whiver. He seemed like a pretty cool guy. Good thing they met.

At the offer of being fed electricity, the man's ears perked up and a smile grew across his face. "Man, free energy? That's awesome. I'll definitely look you up when I need some! I mean, the Academy's Headmistress provided me with a backup generator, but it can only give me so much, you know?"

A thought came across to him, though. Is his Electricity Man Made or Natural? The thought caused his face to twist a bit. Well, wouldn't hurt to ask, right? "Hey, what does you Electricity come from anyway?"

Shinji made a weird face when Whiver seemed to get excited about his offer. I mean with someone like him it wouldn't abnormal for someone to think that was a great offer but at the same time it seemed a little off. Probably because he had only just met the man. Not that big of a deal in this case but Shinji began to smile in the fact that he met someone who not only had the same basic abilities but also may need his own abilities eventually. It was good to know he would be needed eventually.

The man asked him a question though that made Shinji sigh. he knew that this was coming but hoped it wouldn't. He knew that Whiver was going to ask how Shinji could make his own electricity whenever, usually he has to go through this really long winded explanation but this time he needed to make the explanation a bit small for more time and less effort on his part. "Well I usually have to explain quite a bit but give me a moment to think on how to make the explanation shorter... Shinji stated to him. He place his hand on his chin and within a few moments, he had it.

"Well the human nervous system uses small amounts of electricity to send signals to pats of the body, all originating from the brain. Well I can control those signals and basically amplify them to the point of having to release it in large quantities. Its natural to me so I never needed help from anyone. But at times I have to stay calm since my brain can become over active at times." That was as short as Shinji could make it and still have it make sense to the listener. Hopefully he understood it alright.
