Late night Race

Tai strode up to the track as he and his soon to be opponent had agreed upon, admittedly a bit jittery due to the excitement and anticipation of his first real contest; the other had been a spectacular failure, all things considered. That being said, he had an even record technically, and now he was only looking to improve that. Noticing Elisa stretching from a little way off, he jogged over to join her, throwing up a peace sign as he did. "Hey, dope that you came. This should be pretty fun."

He flashed her a toothy grin and looked behind him at his Regalia that had accompanied him. She'd given her name as Cecily, and was a bit...eccentric, in his opinion. That being said, he was certainly interested in the power she had to offer, and to that end intended on bonding with her if he could. He tugged off his t-shirt and tossed it aside in favor of the thin tank top underneath, starting up with some stretching of his own. "Oh, yeah. One more thing to mention that I didn't get a chance to back there. My Regalia, uh...I'm trying to bond with her, but the thing is I don't think she'll be too interested in this contest unless there are some extra stakes. Something embarrassing."

Tai cracked his neck and hummed thoughtfully at that, not entirely sure what a good distance would be. "Hm...well, I mean, we could just do one standard lap around the track, that's four hundred meters. Or two, or however many you feel like. There's also the straightaway track for the hundred meter dash, so that works too." He eyed her for a moment, thinking back to how quick she'd been in the community center.

His mind drifted back to the issue of the loss condition, since that did have to be figured out, and Elisa seemed to have thought up something she found interesting. "I mean, hell, I'm down for most things. Hit me with it, what'd you have in mind? It takes a lot to make me show my shame, so you'll have to think of something good."

Tai eyed Elisa up and down at the suggestion for his potential punishment, quirking a brow and smirking lightly. "I mean...alright, look. I can totally do that, that ain't a problem. I'm just sayin', if you really want to make me red in the face, actually legitimately embarrass me? You're gonna have to do better than that. You don't have to, it's just...I don't want you to shortchange yourself."

Oh man, something he'd have to make her do? Hm...honestly, he wasn't even the faintest bit sure what to suggest; he didn't have a good enough gauge on her personality. Something that'd embarrass her; it wasn't quite as simple as it sounded to just decide. "I mean, uhh...I guess, like...go up to the first person you see and give them a kiss? I dunno. Just thinking up some classic sophomoric shit here. I ain't feelin' the most creative today."

Tai scratched his chin at that, stretching and rolling his shoulders as he thought up something that'd be good enough for each of them. Finally, something hit him, and he actually blushed just the faintest bit as he leaned in and suggested it to Elisa, his voice a bit lower than usual. Pulling back and letting her consider, he went back to stretching, focusing on the match at hand. "So, uh, it's just whoever gets to the finish line first, yeah? That's it?" Truthfully, he'd prepared a possible contingency plan, one of his clones hiding just out of sight but actually closer to the finish line than he himself was.
