Susan snuck up onto the roof, knowing the time was way past midnight. She sat down near the edge and looked up in the sky. It was a full moon tonight. She smiled and without even a cloud in the sky, made it start raining very lightly.

Annie had been sitting on the roof for a long time. Bob was curled up on her lap, and she had her notebook propped up on him. She had a flashlight propped against that.

She wrote quickly, writing down her newest plots. "This is like, my best idea yet, B.B." She told her pet bunny.

When it started to rain, she groaned and put her note book in her messenger bag, but she stayed on the roof. The wind blew her red hair in her eyes. She tucked it behind her ears.

Only then did she see the other girl sitting there.

Shade stood on the edge of the rooftop and looked at the sky. It was lit up in a million shades of beautiful colors. He looked at the moon and stars until his eyes began to water. He pulled on his hood to cover his soft eyes.
He sighed and just continued to stand perfectly still, listening as the two other strangers went about their buisness.
He had to concentrate to keep the buzzing of his sixth sense to a minimum. He continued to look out at the forest. He could see several animals moving slowly.

Grinning at herself, Susan suddenly made it start snowing. She lifted her hands up and caught some of it in her hands. But it melted almost immediately due to the night air.

Shade watched as small falkes of snow began to fall. Suddenly he realized that someone on the roof must've been able to control the weather.

Annie picked up Bob and stood up. "Wheee!!! Snow!" But just then, it stopped. "Darn." Anne side and walked over to the girl, but she noticed the boy too. "Wow...popular place this time of night." She said.

Susan heard the girl's comment about the snow and instead made it begin to mist. The light water glinted against the moonlight. She smiled. "Yeah, it is."

Shade just listened as he watched the treeline. He silently thought about jumping off the building and running to join the animals. But that would just get him killed.

Susan stopped the mist. Her power was making her dehydrated, which made her tired. Tired was one thing she didn't want to be right now. She always loved the stars and moons. Less than a month ago she was in the 1700's, and she was on a ship that floated on the rolling waves of the sea. Just that reminder made Susan wish her friend Jamison was there with her. But he was probably asleep right now. "I'm Susan," She announced to the other two occupants of the roof.
