He fought down a blush as she sat next to him.

"Well, they sorta suck by my standards, plus it's my worst work," he said, hesistantly handing over the paper in his pocket. It was for motivation, that's all, northing other than important. Nothing like a love note. It just told what a sucky life he had.

Ember shrugged. "Well, let's see about that." She said. She watched as he took a folded up piece of paper and handed it to her. Slowly, she unfolded it and began to read.

((What exaclt is she reading?))

[The thing he was writing in his first post.]

He smiled wryly. His work was pretty much a piece of attempted sarcasm. It was bad. He waited for her response, hands crumpled into a fist on his lap.

((OO okay!))

Ember read the words written on the paper:

Life come.
Then it goes.
And it comes back again.
At one hundred miles per hour.

She read it normally the first time, bu then reread it a second, this time more slower. It wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either. "Well..." Ember began but she couldn't find the exact words of how she thought of the poem. "I mean, it's not bad, but it's not that great either..." She didn't want to sound to critical or mean or anything, but yet still tell the truth.

[xD Of course it's not.]

"It's not," he said plainly. "It's terrible. Just run along, stream-of-conscience, it's bad for a reason. But usually it'd be longer."

"I usd to make better ones, but it was a good two years already. I didn't touch paper and pen at all." He stood up from his seat, and went over to a small pile of discarded papers. "Honestly, none of these were too good."

(( I know..XD haha))

He had apoint, his poem was horible for a reason. "Two years without touching pen and paper? I could never last that long...The last time I ever wrote something was maybe 2 months ago.." Then Ember got an idea. It was a good idea, and she could help Stephen.

"Stephen, maybe you just need someone to help you out. I could, if you wanted to."

She reread the poem once again before adding a few adjustments from a pen she had pulled out from her pocket. She handed it back to Stephen. "I tried changing it a bit. It probably sucks though, I woulnd't be suprised."

Life comes.
At the speed of sound
Flashing before your eyes
And then,
poof, it's gone.
Before you even know it.
Realize it.
Gone without a trace.
Without a sound.
Only hearing the tear drops hit the ground.
Mourning for you.
As they did for me.
And now we'll forever be
Eternally.
