Orina sat alone at the grassy bank of the lake staring out as if lost in thought. It has been a long time since she had left the (former) safety of the bunker, six or seven years by her count but she didn't miss it. She enjoyed the fresh air, wide open spaces an sunshine way to much to give it up to ever go back, "If there was a place to even go back to now " she thought letting out and exasperated sigh and fell back to lay of lay on the grass, her expression now grim at the though of her mother, uncle and sister, all lost all in one fell swoop that drizzly Sunday afternoon. And now she was here attending the prestigious starlight academy, the safest place to be her father has said never clarifying from what exactly she was safe from or how he even got her enrolment so late into the school year.She had yet to met the other students or faculty but she was in no hurry, deciding to watch or the lake and the sky a bit longer before venturing to the school. maybe she would enjoy the student life..
